hey my friend on mac is trying to download it but everytime he runs it files from the data folder dissapear and isnt able to run the game. any advice ?
That suggests something on his Mac is deleting the files. Not sure if he has an antivirus or something, but something specific on his computer is deleting them. The game doesn't delete its own folders
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, i was on the old version and was wondering why it was so slow and looked so bad, then i downloaded this and was blown away just from the opening screen. incredible game. however i have one more question, is it possible to put this in your app dock?
You might be able to right click Game.exe and add to your Dock, but I am not sure if that would open it with Wine or not. You could give it a shot though

I believe I helped you yesterday in Discord. Looks like Mac 14.5 is not compatible with Wine yet as it just came out a week ago. Wine needs to update to support it.

Hey! I tried downloading on Mac a pretty long while back, and while following the guide I noticed I was able to just open the game.exe with Wine Crossover. Is this fine? I’m like the complete opposite of tech savvy and completely forgot I had some form of Wine already downloaded! Is there much difference between crossover and stable that could cause problems in the future?
It should be ok to use, the only thing is I have no idea where it stores the Save file for the game or how updating the game would work since I personally never have used Wine Crossover.
Hi! When I input the first line in the terminal to install Homebrew, it keeps saying I need to install Xcode Command Line Tools. A window then pops up for it and I click install, but it can't find the software to install. It won't let me do anything else until I get it. Any help would be appreciated!
When this occurs, a pop up might appear or it is already actually trying to install through the command line. This installation is large (multiple gigs), so will take a bit. If you want to install it yourself, you should install Xcode from the App Store or search how to install xcode command line tools on your own, but it is a large download.
Hi, thanks so much for all your hard work and help. I'm not very good with tech so sorry if this is a simple question. I followed your guide to update the game but now I have game-preloaded.exe and game.exe. Neither of them seem to be loading (game.exe closes itself and preloaded.exe just shows a black screen) so which is the right file to use? My game was working fine before I tried updating it so I wonder if I did something wrong, I did get a lot of popups telling me something was unverified when running the update file (like at least 30). Thank you!

I tried to extract a different Pokemon ROM Hack that used the .msi format with the Unarchiver and it continues to give me the error message "The contents of "Setup.msi" cannot be extracted with The Unarchiver". Any way to fix that?
Everything worked fine and I could open the game and it worked smoothly. but when I press space the second time to get I the menu I just get a black screen. I even updated the game but same issue. what can I do?
Black screen is the loading screen. The duration of it just depends on your device. I would recommend opening game-preloaded if you have bad performance and long loads instead

Are you getting an error? The steps are up to date and are working. If you used the files in my description of the video, you don't have to worry about case sensitive because we would be using the same files... Also the game files I provide are already the latest version of the game, so you don't need to update at the moment neither.
Black screens are loading screens in this game. If you have a lot of them, open Game-preloaded instead. when you open the game, it will have a long black screen, but in game performance is faster

It means your internet is dropping connection to the installation. Ppl have tried another network or hotspot to make it work, but something is up with your internet.
What is the name of the file? If it isn't naming something like "File A.rxdata", it won't be found. If it is named that but not loading into game and you are certain it is in the correct folder, your save is corrupted since it can't be read by the game.
Hey man, I just tried using this guide but I think it doesn't work with older macs, mine is a 13 inch 2017 mac. My computer is only letting me update to monatary 12.7.5, is there still a way to get the game on this update?
Hey Megaman, everything worked fine for me until I realised that the things like the abilities, fusing and unfusing, and probably other things I haven't seen yet didn't work. The Pokemon wouldn't have any abilities, and if I tried to fuse or unfuse anything my game would crash. I'm playing a randomised world for random abilities and random encounters. I looked into the data file and saw that some files get deleted randomly. I saw a comment say they had the same problems, and I tried using the tips you gave them. But I can't find any anti-virus software unless MacOs automatically has one downloaded. Is there anyway to find out whether I have an anti virus installed without my knowledge. Or would there be any other option in fixing the game for further use. Also after the first initial launch the game doesn't load again, and says it can't cuz im missing files for it to run properly. Please help! :(
Yeah that is something as I mentioned in the other post, something related to your Mac and it deleting files. This isn't a normal occurrence and I haven't gotten any reports other than just you two with this issue. My other guess might be you put the game in a folder that syncs with iCloud or Google Drive. It might be synching to your cloud without you knowing and ran out of space so not all the files were in your cloud. You should disable any cloud activity from your game folder as well.
Just depends on your Mac. Hopefully you updated your Mac OS when before starting the installation as mentioned. If you are still struggling, open game-preloaded instead. It will be long start screen but faster in game performance.

Need more info on what you tried and what the terminal says. Mac is easier to troubleshoot with screenshots in discord vs here. But if you installed homebrew and it just says brew help, that means you had it installed previously. You can go to the next steps, just hopefully you uninstalled before reinstalling as the guide suggests.
@@ivy4349 Dont know if u found out yet, but if you open the "infinite fusion", you'll see another folder within named "data". Delete that and then repeat the steps in the video to update the game. it worked for me, and my data is still there
that means you've had homebrew installed on your computer at one point or didnt uninstall it before starting the guide. You can try going to the next step, but in my guide i recommend uninstalling first to get the latest version installed
Depending on the game. But this installs like 90% of what you would need to make Window's game works on Mac anyways just depending on what other game's require.
hey i lost my progress on my file after updating and when i try to restart it keeps giving me errors after i click enter on blue is there anyway you can fix this without deleting my save i looked in the save folder and the save itself looked normal it was last edited the last time i played the game
Updating does not make you lose progress. The only time progress is not kept is when you are running an old version like 4.9.2 and trying to play the latest. If you are getting an error on Blue, you should join the discord and share a screenshot of it in the #tech-support channel where I can help you more. The fix depends on what the error says.

@@megaman-exe hi sorry that i’m just now getting back to you i had busy week and didn’t mess with infinite fusion until just now but the error says “script “003_interpreter.rb line 189:RuntimeError occurred”, there’s also”script error in map 77 (oak’s lab), and a message that says incompatible marshal file format(can’t be read) format version 4.8 required; 0.0 given.
That is how randomized items now works. It is mapped. Meaning if your potions were randomized to Escape Ropes, everywhere you find a Potion will be Escape Ropes. They aren't randomized each time.
Hi there, everything worked fine until step 5 when I encountered the error: "It seems there is already a Binary at '/opt/homebrew/bin/appdb'." When I looked up "/opt/homebrew/bin/" on finder using the guide, nothing was showing up so I couldn't delete any files. Is there anything I can do, as I'm stuck on step 5. Thank you in advance!

Also I’m on Mac I have tried restarting and even deleting the data folder and updating the game but nothing works I wasn’t having issues running it before. It just sort of stopped working
You should restart your computer. this error happens when you are clicking on the screen/pressing buttons as the game is loading up. This also happens when your computer is REALLY slowing down and struggling to play the game.
@@megaman-exe When I try the method in desc, it gives me an error message when I open the game again. Definitely copying it exactly as it should be, triple checked.
Also when i put DEBUG = true in the correct spacings a message appeared saying Exception:Errno::ENOENT Message: File No such file pr directory @ rb_sysopen - PBS/ribbons.txt not found. normally i would just start a new one but.. i found a shiny in this file..
