Official POV - Vortex - Canada's Wonderland 

There needs to be more mid scary level roller coasters like this one at the park. Cause the way it is now, after Vortex and a couple others, you're either goin' on a kiddy ride like Taxi Jam or you're goin' upside down twice or down a 300ft drop.

I hope they never take this coaster away! This is my favourite ride ! Idc how bumpy it can be. Head back and just enjoy! It’s so awesome.

Sit at the front it's the best cuz it SWAYS SOO MUCH at the end! This ride is so swift & exhilarating, i did it twice!!

This is a fantastic Arrow Dynamics Suspended Coaster, I just wish it was longer though

This ride proves that roller coasters don’t have to be epic or hyper mega coasters to be fun. Yes you may bang your head again at the restraints but just keep your head back and you’ll be fine, or an easy updated restraint replacement for future designs (if anyone ever decides to, which I hope).

Who remembers that lookout point on the mountain? The good old days when we you could go up the mountain 😭

*TO ANYONE WHO IS SCARED* (Or worried about banging or shaking) I went on today. And damn I was really scared. When it got to the top I thought I was going to die of an anxiety attack. Let me tell you, if you scream, you will feel NOTHING down the drop. I am not kidding, I hate roller coaster drops SO MUCH and I felt nothing. And when it comes to head banging or shoulders hurting, THERE WAS LITERALLY NONE OF THAT. Sure, rides a little jerky but nothing you can't handle I bet. You'll be fine, it's fun overall. My advice? Sit towards the front, avoid the back. And hold on!!

My first time going on it and I got front row I loved it zero head banging zero issues its my favourite ride considering I haven't been on the three B&Ms yet

Everytime I see a POV of an Arrow suspended coaster, I'm always reminded of how Arrow improved their suspended coaster model after the failure The Bat (1981-1984) was for Kings Island.

I went on it and it was honestly not bumpy idk what everyone is saying

I am very impressed how this ride almost always has a full que, this ride has been at the park for some time and is still popular

What sets this coaster apart from any I've been on all over the world.... the way it stops... you peel into that final queue sideways in such a fast fun way.

This one was my first ever coaster, and I really enjoyed it. Though I got a lot of stomach pain from the carts swinging and the wind.

Amazing POV Wonderland!

This was our warm-up coaster when my friend and I did yearly trips here.

I've always felt that this coaster felt more like a "flying simulator" than what Flight Deck & Time Warp were touted to be. The swinging mechanism on the train cars really gives the turn banks a special feel. And I feel really secure in these cars with how they're designed, for some reason? It's more like sitting in a deep-seated log-flume boat than your standard tracked coaster car. Also, I don't really remember jostling against the headrest??? If there was, it's nothing like Flightdeck's jostling. I kept my head back and arms braced on the restraints. I do remember the braking area of the track at the end felt a bit sudden though, maybe that's the spot most people have the bad experiences from???

In my opinion this is one of my favorite coasters in the park

I seriously underestimated this ride when I first went on it. The video doesn't do justice to how intimidating that first drop is. If I went on it again I probably wouldn't be as afraid, but still, I like being surprised by rides.

it's nothing compared to modern coasters - but the thing that makes Vortex so cool is how quiet and smooth it is.

This is a really solid #4 in the park. Great for people who are too afraid to ride the big 3 (Leviathan, Yukon Striker and Behemoth).

I went on this at night and it was awesome!

Wow it is still running! Last I rode it was in 2001, and it was always the first one I rode.

A sweet ride, the free-swinging experience is great! (And semi-unique, Vortex is one of only 4 left of this type in North America, and of the 2 I've ridden vortex is by far the superior one :)

I went on vortex with my cousin, and when we were on the turn for the drop, the look on her face was priceless! The rest of the ride including the drop I was laughing my a** off over the face she made. She on the other hand was closing her eyes

0:55 bruh the insane nostalgia... look at all the archways... i used to walk though those as a kid because back in the day you used to be allowed to climb the mountain.

First time I went on was yesterday in the morning. It was raining heavily and I felt like I was being waterboarded 😂😂 was genuinely perilous and thrilling. 5⭐️

One of the best roller coasters at Wonderland. Its fast and fun, even without a loop its still pretty fun. I dont think its a bumpy as ppl say, flight deck and dragon frye are way bumpier

If you like rollercoasters but not big drops and loops, this is a good ride for you. It’s not scary, but really bumpy. Enjoy your ride ☺️

This is more aggressive than the video that makes it look gentle. Went on it today & kept nearly slipping out of harness. From the time it left the mountain to stopping I don't think I touched that seat.
