I think you should stand the bike up and secure it with guy lines. Then use the tarp or a larger tarp to make a small shelter/head protection. Think of the bike as a couple of poles. Think that would be a pretty good summer setup.

great video dude, just put a smal chain around the wheel and keep it close, no one will be able to pick it up and carry it off so the only option is to cut the chain off and im sure you'd hear them doing it and that even if bike thieves would hike that far with tools to nick it

Same thing happen to my mate, bars came lose, miles from help, he was stressing, but i knew we would bump in to sum one, who would have sum hex tools, ended up being sum guys flying remote jets, i would pack the bike up as much as you can, anything quick release, water proof cover, even lock the back wheel to the frame, but i would keep the battery separate and keep in main tent, not just for security but so it don't get too cold, and effect the battery in the long run, i would recommend a seat post rack, or a XL seat bag, and front basket, and carry less on your back

Well done Adam,looked a though one, enjoyed that ,good memories, I had a mountain bike and done some of that area,knees gone now though.

I love your vids, and appreciate you saying you have restricted the 750w motor. Unfortunately, it is still totally Illegal, The motor must be no more than 250w, any higher it is still classed as an unregistered motorcycle, so It is still a criminal offence to ride it on any public bridleway, footpath or highway. If caught, the bike will be confiscated and crushed, also as well as a fine, there's a possibility of a driving ban. In South Yorkshire, the Police has a dedicated Off road motorcycle team, They look for Illegal off road Motorcycles, Quads and de-restricted E-Bikes. I would Just get a 250w motor E-Bike? BTW Throttles are allowed on restricted E-bikes as long as the throttle cuts off at 15.5mph.(25kph) I have a Scott E-Spark 710, my mate has a Fat Bike with a legal throttle control.

Turn the bike upside down and use the wheels as a centre pole using the tarp up and over like and old fashioned triangle tent ⛺️ bike upside down in the middle, peg and guy out tarp, just enough space for you one side and gear the other

Turn the bike upside down and throw your tarp over the wheels use the tarp to tension . It should look like a rudimentary ridge tent with your bike running down the middle .

Buy a motorbike tent will. They allow you to bring the bike under cover and form part of the actual tent so no chance of someone taking it away without you seeing

You need to be careful mate that bike is illegal in the Uk on public roads or bridleways if stopped you will get endorsement on your license, riding without insurance, riding without road tax, riding without registration Max motor in the UK and most of the EU is 250w ! max speed 25k Great video tho 👍👍
