Dear Anshuman Sir, what are the plans of Isuzu dmax getting Auto Transmission, along with 4*4?or no news? ISUZU.. आर they planning any bump up in Bhp and Torque, new engine? Looks like Isuzu Dmax is very capable even now, if it gets additional bhp n torque than surely it wud be a huge bonus for All terrain Adventure enthusiasts and specially Champion like you.
One reason that Thar performs and clears the obstacles with ease is perhaps, it's body weight ratio to Bhp, is advantageous in comparison to bigger vehicles... But this is my observation. The best judgement is expected from Expert Anshuman ji! please observe, Anshuman ji, whether my observation is correct, if yes to what extent?
Thar in stock form is lighter than other SUVs here but with metal hardtop, that advantage is not so huge. Then power output is 105 bhp, whereas some other cars here are twice as powerful like Pajero Sport is remapped and dynoed, its making 220+bhp, my V-Cross is also remapped makes 194bhp. New Endeavour in stock form make 197 bhp, new Fortuner makes 174 bhp... Thar being smaller has advantage in tight trails, out in dunes it isnt any better than SUVs.
Dear Anshuman ji. May I request you to kindly give your judgement as which is better vehicle performance terms in comparison to New versus Previous version of Fortuner.. Say both are.. 4*4 auto drive, provided driver skills are equal good, performance, in off road... In. 1.sand. 2.,snow. 3. Rain, water, slush, loose gravel.. 4.Rocky surface.... Also, which other off road suv, Is no. 2 and ni. 3.., the other being Isuzu and Endeavor? The rest of cars are not in the match. Although they play the game! 😂.. Sir, I will be very grateful coz you can answer. You r the best I know and we all know in India, for many years now.. Question is lengthy but only you can give best judgement. I wouldnt call the Fortuner as the best, it surely is amongst the top cars. All SUVs have their respective advantages. Fortuner, Endeavour, Pajero Sport, D-Max...all are in same league.

@@virendersinghmann5887 you are discounting the driver's contribution in making any vehicle look better or worse. All vehicles are capable enough for most situations, but we tend to form judgements ignoring the driver's skill and aptitude in handling different terrains.
For what purpose? As a weekend offroader and lifestyle vehicle its good. Not as practical and comfortable as a car but good as a second car or even a primary car for youngsters.
It's high time we start a petition somewhere to address Toyota that Indian spec vehicles should also be offered with diff locks. Who knows, maybe the engineers at Japan may not be even aware of this cost cutting.😐
