When Sampson was a Soph and Karaban was a Freshman, Sampson entered the season as the starting power forward before he got injured and Karaban took the spot and never gave it back. I remember hearing at the start of that season that Sampson was a capable 3 point shooter. It would he nice to see him add that to his game this year.

Mahaney over Brea was all about years of eligibility remaining from comparable players.

I agree, but that’s not the whole story. Koby may be versatile but he hasn’t shown it in college yet. Aidan has played in a really complex offense and was a perfect fit for what their trying to contain to create

Reed and Samson should be fine at the 5. However we need a more traditional 4 to complement Stewart assuming that AK doesn't return.

are you the coach? what was AK in your opinion bc to most people who know basketball, ak was a solid guy who could play 3-4-5 and it was proven... not sure why you would think they don't need a 4??? you could just state that you never played basketball and probably sat behind a computer for your entire life... clown shoes activity.... lemme guess your major was journalism lmaoooo

@@eyeCblue2 actually AK is a true 3 but has POSITIONAL VERSATILITY. Brother I don’t need to prove a damn thing to you or anyone, if you wanna do a show I’d love to watch and see your knowledge. 😂. Feel free to come on the show and bring your “knowledge” anytime my guy… ANYTIME. I’m on daily and not hard to find 🫡✅

McNealy doesn’t do it for you? Not necessarily out of the box but perhaps by years end he’s better than Alex IMO and if Alex goes it’s because he thinks he’s a first round draft pick. I like the combo of Stewart/McNeally/Ross - a lot

I feel we need another PF/C. Signare is talented but still has to develop. We need someone who can be multidimensional

I disagree. We have positional versatility everywhere else but the 5 spot, meaning guys who can shoot it at all 3 levels. Our offense doesn’t really provide a standard post of presence.
