The only issue I got is with the rotation... When I rotate the red and the purple ones they did not match with the first one on the other side. I don't know why. The center of rotation is set at 0...
I had a question about the software. Does the software tell you the approximate weight of the ring before its casted? or the Carat weight of the diamonds? Thanks in advance
You can check the volume in Rhino but you will need to calculate yourself into metal weight. I have a video discuss that. search "weight" on my channel.
I meet the same problem, I found that the cause of this problem is likely to be: Use "rectangle" to execute the command "sweep"，that will cause the close surface to have some seams, which will easily cause the seams to be aligned. You can try to move these solid slightly ,( or “sweep” with rounded rectangle), it solve my problem.
Rhino doesn''t have specific command to create support. but you can always draw line and pipe it. however, I use B9Creator and they have free software to download for support.
