Hi Bro, i really don't have what brand is best for boat fishing, as individual preference vary. In general for jigging/bottom try not to get rod longer than 7 foot. Because long rod is cumbersome and will hit rooftop and fellow anglers. PE 1-3 rod not more than 7 foot is more than enough for Singapore waters. Unless you play bottom with heavy sinker. Then a thicker rod is suitable to support the sinker weight

If you on budget and dont mind taiwanese brand, you can try Seahawk Vortex Rod for light jig and tenya. Maguro Giant Monster Spinoza SG rod for bottom fishing. Consider cheap and good rod. Can get it online e.g Shopee

@@syedibrahim6991 may not be suitable, also depends how you fight too, try not to high stick it as the joint section usually break if too much bend.
