Alright so from my understanding, the Hoover groovers was a group (not sure if it was a gang) but Hoover as we know it today ain’t evolved from them necessarily. There was some influence from them along with other folks and then Hoover crip started as it’s own gang. So they’re two separate entities. So that brings the next question I’m sure a lot of us got, who were the hoover groovers and what was their history? Where on hoover were they located? What was their get down? And what years were they active? Because even though they’re two separate entities, there’s still the influence to todays generation because they still use the term groove and groovy til this day.
