I just started playing and always pick the xenomorph aliens. I make the intestines that lets me make the centipede guys and sometimes I use the blood bath. When they keep playing I use the curvy bat or the spider that does the line of spikes. If I get bored I make the umbrella that shoots ants and the wooly mammoth with the tusks or even the python. I'm only winning 95% of my games in the GM section, how do I win 100% so I can get the best ending?

Stupid stuff suggestion: Pylon snaking. The first pylon you may build wherever, but all subsequent pylons must be adjacent. If your opponent unlinks your pylons, newly built pylons must improve pylon linkage.

Absolutely no chill on this one, not a bad thing at all, I think genuinely that it comes with the territory of the rank. In any game that has mmr there are always people who think they know better than the developers themselves or even more than other players, and it’s never a bad thing to get ego checked. Why is Shakti refusing to build detection in the end? He is fighting lurkers for 15 minutes but doesn't to revelate them? Also didn't get that stalker movement on the left (30:10). All his stalkers are bruised, he has a bunch of batteries infront of his base, but instead of healing up, he immediately attacks again.

It's interesting to see that GM players often seem to have strayed from the Path of our Lord and Saviour, Immortal/Archon....Like, that is the thing that gets you to Plat in no time, because it ravages Ravagers and eats Roaches and Queens for a snack. leaving the zerg's resources bound in the useless corrupters is a game winner. Trying to take them out anywhere but in defense is just stupid.

''the lurker also out of all the units that the zerg can build I think is genuinely one of the worst units'' I don't know if I agree with that, they have a decent health pool similar to a tank, and do fairly large amounts of damage, though it is easily dodged damage, especially by stim marines. its not a perfect unit, but deals damage similar to that of a hellion, crossed with the mechanics of a siege tank, its not a great unit, but against a lot of things it can be fairly decent. A strange example being banelings, since they do enough damage to kill them far enough away to not take splash damage from the baneling radius, and simultaneously kills all the banelings in the blob, since banelings move with whats known as a ''herd node'' which naturally groups them up into balls, similar to other units that use herd nodes like marines and zerglings, lurkers also have enough health to tank a few hits from banelings. The catch being banelings can attack lurkers when burrowed regardless of detection by simply hitting X or spam move commanding to their location. Lurkers also seem to slaughter small groups of zealots pretty hard, which is unlike hellions or siege tanks, when surrounded, Lurkers tend to attack towards each other, which gives them the very strange ability to defend each other with splash damage, completely opposite of siege tanks, which is most commonly seen when siege tanks kill one zergling and sacrifice three other siege tanks to do it. This is because lurkers have a weapon that creates eight small search zones in a line which apply the 30 +15 damage in each search area, which has had friendly fire turned off, by removing allied units from the search parameters. So in actuality, the amount of damage a lurker can do per attack is not 30+15, but is infact eight times that, or 240 + 120 (360). Which is pretty good but can still be increased further with upgrades, For example with the range upgrade two additional search zones are added, increasing the damage even further, and, since each ranged upgrade effects each search zone damage by 2, the zerg ranged damage upgrades actually increase the lurkers damage by 16, or 20 with the range upgrade, since there are 8 or 10 search zones. With all the relevant damage and range upgrades they can deal up to 510 damage splashing many units every 1.43 seconds. This is assuming there is only one unit in each search area, if there is more then one unit in each search area then you can easily turn that 510 into even more. Admittedly it is spread across many units but its still a massive amount of damage. Lurkers in the hands of AI can be pretty nutty, and in this match I thought the zerg player grezfen did a fantastic job. Still a fascinating analysis as always.

Does Shakti know about the Disruptor? Did it exist in 2012? At the end there is nothing else than lurkers and corrupters, 3 Disruptors would've wiped out the lurkers and then all you'd need is stalkers for a free win.
