This is quite literally one of my life's pursuits...ever since I saw these doors at the garage tour of the Driver's Club years back, I knew. I had to have them someday. That day might be happening very soon!

I remember when they replaced the old vinyl/fabric doors at the dealership I worked at with Rytec doors. It was awesome because you drive in and out of the shop dozens of times a day, so the speed of the doors was great. Not to mention they bought the see through doors which made the place look nicer and prevented those awkward “no you reverse” moments when someone tried to leave only to be met with someone trying to come in. Great choice, I look forward to the install!

Try and get them to extend the warranty, we have three high speed doors and 12 regular doors at the Audi dealer I work at, very expensive to repair and trust me they needed repaired often, also do not let anyone work on them, only someone Rytec had trained, also I would recommend a maintenance plan where they come out and perform recommend maintenance.

I built a dealership in FL and put in 12 Rytec Spiral full visions and stacked them inboard of some QMI hurricane shutters since the Rytecs don’t have an NOA. I had to come up with a tube steel frame to make it all work. Works great but it was expensive.

We have one at my work. They work super smooth. Every other roll down door we had gave us issues with long down times. I will say they do need inspections with small down times. But i really like them.

First saw these at my BMW dealer in Fairfax VA. Amazing. Especially as I was in commercial construction at the time and saw what a normal commercial door worked like.

Matt, make sure you read the manufacturers recommendations on size, etc, not just what the dealer recommends. Reason being, my clopay intellicore garage doors are 18' wide, and when it gets down to into the 40s, there was a 2-inch gap in the top center of the door letting all my heat out. The dealer said there was nothing they could do. The manufacturer suggested to increase the top brace from 2.5 to 3.0 inches and that solved the problem. The dealer didn't like that I was right and charged me $500 to install the new brace but it was worth it, no more cold garage, no more bugs, outside smell, etc. Take home point: don't forget about thermal expansion. I'm down the road from your upcoming texas garage build, and there's a guest room here if you or Mike want to stay in while you're here :)

I build industrial freezer warehouses where it’s paramount that any openings are for a very short amount of time.. which is why Rytec is our #1 high speed door provider 😎 very good group of guys over there all the way from sales to service!

I've had experience with them as well. My experience had air curtains that turn on when the door opened. The door was also all-weather fabric.

Those Rytec doors are legit Matt, we’ve got a couple at the winery, cool thing is if a driver with a forklift punches through the doors it’s not a big big deal, who your rep is for the East Coast? You’re shipping side you may want to check out the vinyl version of the door. Ok got ya Chuck is your Rep… 20 years ago my dad was was an authorized dealer out of Hayward California when they first started many years ago. Toyota material handling used to be the authorized dealer Toyota also owned Raymond forklift at the time. I’m not sure if they still do or not.

We use that same type of roll up door in the factory I work at. I have seen them fail, but only when a forklift crashes through them.

go with the taller door, you will regret a lower door. if you ever venture into larger suv's/pickup trucks (especially in florida) or semi's/RV's (another HUGE market) you will wish you had that taller door.

We have Rytech doors at the Toyota Dealer I work at. They are junk, parts are on “back order” for 4 years and our dealer rep never comes to service them.

Ah...yes. I knew it. Adam's is 100% microfiber which is a terrible washing experience. 30% Polyamide is great for towels, but you don't want it in a wash mitt or pad. It just makes it absorb a ton of water and makes it heavy. The Microfiber Madness is 92% Polyester and 8% Viscose (Wool). It is a true design that takes into account the washing experience. Oh...and it is $10 more, and I sell it for their normal retail price. The isn't a single product on my site that is sold above MSRP.
