***** If you don't think Halo/2 had a higher skill ceiling then you're ignorant. Button glitches alone, added a significant amount of depth. Honestly, I don't care these days; console shooters are for newbies anyhow. If you want to talk pc shooters, that's another story.
??? Halo 3? Don’t talk stupid, the skill gap on Halo 3 was minimal hence why teams found it hard to dominate. Halo CE and Halo 2 where on another level.
And the jumping in the window part at 1:50 I've always tried to do that but could get the perfect timing. That's probably how some players were able to get on top of the tubes near the teleported
I keep gettings owner in Steam MCC CE by a player with a tag like OZgre 1 or something thereabout, not sure if that is a legit ogre, but definitely a good player in any case
Nading rockets to you must be the biggest advantage for the infection game type. Every survivor goes to the same corner to get the rocket but you quickly throw a nade to bring it towards you and troll the rest of your teammates lol
Dovahslayer its funny, in halo 1 especially people mess around with switching weapons and wiggling around the aimer. Its a way to loosen up your thumbs in a way. its more habit than anything else. its like a lion limbering up, cept you're warming up your thumbs and messing around with controls. the switching the weapons can come back and bite you in the ass, but i always move the aimer stick in a circle when I'm running around, it hones in your accuracy over time little by little
Skunk Pepin This is so annoying to watch tho! I can understang messing with aiming stick to just feel the accuracy better, but gosh I can't watch this video - switching weapons in just too disturbing to me :/
+Dovahslayer I do it a lot to keep the blood flowing so to speak. Its to loosen your hands up somewhat but at the same time have more control so you can be more focused when the situation demands it. Hell before I start playing any competitive game like Halo, CSGO, or Dota 2 I like to wash my hands in hot water and dry off with a towel so my hands aren't cold and sluggish and more importantly not sweaty.
I just hate that in order to beat these competitive nerds i have to memorize all these spawns (basically new to comp halo1 play but not new to halo) i wish we could just magnum/nade/snipe off in all honesty. But the battle for spawn trap and power weapons is such a struggle. Never a believer in rockets feels grimy to use. But ya gotta...
that's how it is for anything worth doing. games, sports, careers, whatever. if you want to be competitive, you have to put in the time and effort, and go the extra mile when others are not willing to.
