Very solid but i would much rather take 5% less spread over 5% more ranged damage. Stubbers feel terrible to use against anything over 10 meters, especially mk7. Still hyped for this but sad to see 0 accuracy bonuses while braced
Been trying out this build and it's been really fun, though I dont have all the blessings and all. I've really been struggling dealing with crushers bc of their carapace armor and most of the time it comes down to me whittling their health down with the l1 l2 heavy 3 knife attacks. Any other tips for dealing with them, esp if they come in a mass of other enemies? The stubber does amazing dmg but not against them
This was more of a demonstration of a pure Gunlugger build than a recommendation. I would try to spare some points to grab the Dominate talent from the Skullbreaker tree to give you +30% Rending (i.e. armor penetration) for 10 seconds after killing an Elite. This will let your Cleaver and Stubber deal with Crushers effectively after killing a weaker Elite enemy like a Rager or a Shotgunner.
@@hankjw_40k Gotcha, thanks for the reply. I assume your suggestions and what not will be in the eagerly-awaited Ogrynomicon, so would it be better to put the points you put into the middle tree to the far left to try and get rending or try to take points from elsewhere to do so? Also why not rending on the ability activation? Is the burn dps simply that much better?
