For those trying to farm Blessings, I personally roll everything below 350 ( you can choose to be more strict ) to blue ONLY . If i get anything higher I roll to yellow/legendary as the blessing tier does scale with the stat score. GL to all the psykers out there, may the Emporer bless your rolls
@Jasta85 as far as I know, all of them can get Tier 4 if blue, it doesn't have to be 350. Since you are sacrificing the weapon anyway. But the chance is low by nature lol. Just a heads up that it is costly in general
Protip : Don't waste your money and materials into the crafting until you are at level 30 !!! It is very unlikely you will keep forever a weapon with a base stat lower than 350, when you don't need your weapon anymore discard it for money or if it's a blue rarity or higher hand it over to Hadron in order to earn the blessing. One less to get in the future ! 😉
Flip side perspective. You can still put SOME money in, because you will get millions once you are damnation level. But yes, in general, it is best to focus on crafting after level 30. That said, you can still do some things before 30 if you want to.
I normally dont like these comment screeners but that was as Simple as it gets. I like that. Now as a newbie’s newby I didn’t know you could give hadron anything
A good way to tell if a weapon is bricked is upgrade it blue and see if you have a perk and blessing you like or are ok with. That means you can save you 2 rerolls for the next 2 modifiers if they aren't good. If you've upgraded a weapon to purple and don't like any of the modifiers then the weapon is guaranteed bricked and you shouldn't upgrade it further unless you want to use the higher tier 4 blessing chance from upgrading it all the to trade it in for future weapons
if you get a weapon with a blessing you want you can turn it in to hadron and that will unlock the blessing to be swapped on to any similar weapon@@agentnukaz1715
Returned after long hiatus(when I left Hadron was not available yet) so it's incredibly helpfull. Much preffered more streamlined gearing process in vermintide 2 though
Thanks for the guide. I thought the crafting system was so bad that regardless of being the same weapon type, you couldn't share the blessing pool between each variant. The best info from the best darktide RU-vidr.
Thank you for this. I’m brand new to all things Warhammer 40k. I love Darktide and now I’m going to love it even more after watching this video and what I learned about building stuff up!
2:00 idk how many people need to hear this. Playing heresy or damnation and literally watching teammates look at and walk past bundles of materials is brutal 😅
Unfortunately, sometimes we are so burned out on collecting (like in my case) we overlook it, but its definitely always good etiquette to pick it up so I try to do so when playing with randoms :)
While I am rather proud of the fact that I managed to know a good chunk of these things already, I want to take the time to thank you on something the video still taught me: Try and keep a minimum at or close to 350, and more importantly, the cap of a rolled white weapon is 380 I typically try to make sure that my stats are relatively evenly spread because I'm not quite at the point where I know what's best for what weapon (so being decent all around feels like the prudent decision), but knowing what the score cap is is very relevant information. Side note regarding the guns that I learned from the Darktide RU-vidr named Stout that anyone crafting the ideal gun will want to know: There are various weapons that will look functionally similar to each other except for paint jobs being blue, green, or tan. Lasguns and auto guns especially have this. And functionally, they are indeed almost exactly the same but for one thing, which the color tells you: blue guns prioritize speed over damage (though the damage is still alright), tan guns prioritize damage over speed (though the fire rate is still alright), and the green ones are the midpoint between the two
The information you stated will be covered in my newbie guide 😁👍. It is how the different weapon Mks differ from each other, but yes, this information is indeed correct. I am always happy to help with content and eventually I will be the only one that people watch since I aim to be the very best ;) EDIT: Just so there is no confusion, this information is not new information. We already made vids about it and knew about it when the game first came out :). Wanted to clarify that in case you wonder why it's in my newbie guide without credit. All the pros already know about how the weapon models vary but a lot of new players don't right now.
Huh... That didn't realize it using color lmao. I noticed it using barrel length instead. Long barrel guns are the max dmg min rpm type and the shorter the barrel the max rpm and min damage.
I remember you saying you dont play ogryn but I was up for 40 hours having a blast with a ripper gun I just couldnt seem to put down. Ogryn is probably the most fun you can have in the game.
@@Evil_Veuxz im playing with point blank and a stubber and I just started heresy last night. Definitely need better gear but im running two legendary weapons and legendary curios right now.
@@Evil_Veuxzquite often, at the high levels Ogryns need to be in a team using genuine tactics to properly utilise the class. Playing with randoms as an ogryn can be absolute hell
@@Evil_Veuxz I'm leveling atm , and I already am starting to hate them. Always getting in the way. And then when you shoot them, they fucking turn around and go up to you, with their big dumb face, and block even more of the screen. And then some special starts messing you up, because you can't see. Bah.
Haven't actually tried rolling for stats until today so I've barely used any plasteel in 106 hours. Didn't even end up with a single high tier weapon and am now out of plasteel... I'm going back to not caring about weapon stats because I'm not playing 100+ hours for each good weapon I want lol
I understand the crafting system isn't great. There are a few ways to ease the burden. First stats: - This is rolled with Dockets. Play missions until you accumulate enough for a good weapon. I usually accumulate half a mil and then roll until I get a semi decent weapon that I like (or hopefully a few copies) - I then upgrade that to transcendent (IF it turns out okay when it gets to Blue). If you don't have ideal perks or blessings, it's usually still okay if you're just running Heresy or standard Damnation. - Keep running Standard Damnation once you can handle it, you will get plenty of plasteel and ordo Dockets in no time. - Make use of the builds on this channel, as the vast majority of them will carry you with the talent tree alone and without worrying about perks and blessings (in Heresy or Damnation). All this info aside, I feel you, a gacha system is NOT a good crafting system and it can create very poor results for users. Hopefully they rework it in future
@@RealAsianRobot oh yeah I mean I have 1k hours in vermintide so i'm comfortable regardless but seeing everyone make optimized builds is crazy when I can't even get one ideal item and more than 2 ideal blessings total after 100 hours of darktide lol i pretty much went with your crafting advice when i rolled all my plasteel as a consistent follower of your darktide content but i'ma just go back to not caring about optimization lmao, ty tho!
Hey I found your videos through dauntless, and haven't watched much recently. But I downloaded darktide and was having fun and am now realizing that you play it too.
Glad you enjoy it. I stopped Dauntless because the Phoenix Labs devs support racism against the Asian People. So I hope you're not still playing that game. If evidence is needed, I can happily show you, but yes, I create for and am partnered with far better games now 😁👍
What an awesome guide thank you. I found a 378 tigris today and was wondering how this all worked. Keep it up and take this sub. Hope to see you out there!
At which level would you say you should begin investing resources into crafting weapons? I'm currently a lvl 18 Ogryn running around with a white knife
Level 30 in general. Buy what you need from the armory with Dockets till then. Once you hit 30, you start the long process of crafting your dream gear (sort of)
So, you can only change 1 perk and one blessing of a weapon, then to have a good weapon you wont only need to get a balanced and high stats value, but one good perk and one good blessing? Rng Sadge
You can change 2 perks or 2 blessings as well. So if RNG is good then, you might get 2 great blessings or 2 great perks and then just reroll the other 2 and boom perfect weapon. But then again, I did play Diablo 4. The RNG here is better than Season 1 Diablo 4 🤣🤣🤣.
Thanks for the video! This is great. Very helpful. Why do some of your weapons have locks on them? Can you re-bless/refine as many times as you want, or does one of them still get locked? The locking is one of the reasons I stopped playing the game before.
Quick answer: You can only make 2 modifications on any weapon (this was stated in the vid, but could have been missed). So if you modify 1 perk, 1 blessings that's 2 mods. The other perk and blessing will therefore be locked. You can change any perk or blessing that you've already modified as many times as you want by paying the cost (also covered in the vid). But no matter what you cannot exceed 2 modifications per weapon. So if you modify 2 blessings, you cannot change the perks. If you modify 2 perks, you cannot change the blessings. So for any weapon, you want to try and roll 2 good things so you can change the other 2 things :). Hope this clarifies things
I'm just getting into the game and I'm wondering if this is the most up to date information on the systems. I've been looking and I don't see any search results much more recent than this one and some others.
I've got a question about the shared blessings between weapon types. Do all weapon types have somewhat different blessings and only a few specific ones are shared or are they not shared at all? Let's say I earn blessing X on the infantry lasgun. Does that perk get shared with other weapon types that have access to the exact same blessing X or are they completely separated from other weapon types, even if they had blessing X on their blessings pool aswell?
As stated in the video itself. Blessings are ONLY shared with the same type of weapon. Infantry Lasgun blessings only apply to infantry lasguns and not other type of lasguns or weapons even if the blessing is the same I'm pretty sure this is in the vid. Please do check the timestamps 😁👍
@@RealAsianRobot I stopped playing after I max level my Ogryn, my last playthrough of this is prolly on December 2022, when the game is still lacking a bit of content. And now with their latest update it feels like getting a new coat of paint, all it needs right now is a polished optimization and some bit of events like how Vermintide 2 does (i.e. double xp or premium cosmetics giveaway per attendance). Right now I'm currently leveling up my Veteran and I'm now having a blast with the MkVId Recon Lasgun and Chainsword.
I believe this error of 1 occurs due to the fact that the stats contain fractions which we don't see. The values are rounded, but the fractions always cause a discrepancy of 1
I may have missed it but when you recycle a weapon for its blessing is that for all classes, or do you have to recycle weapons on each class to unlock the same blessing for all of them?
What's a good way to farm blessings? Should I just browse melk, do I upgrade weapons to gold tier? Or is blue tier enough and just upgrade as many weapons as I can?
To farm blessings just play missions that are malice and above and upgrade green blessings to blue. Keep an eye on Melk daily for deals as he can have tier 4 and 3 blessings you might need on equipment (sometimes you find a God roll in there). But mainly once you get to damnation you start to get gold drops fairly consistently and these will usually have what you need 😁👍
For me I usually save in bulk for a hadron trip. I buy 10 to 15 weapons, or when I roll a solid 365+. Then I legendary the one I'm using and get the other 9 to 14 to blue for blessing scarfises. Once done, pray you have a blessing you want or do it again. A big tip is try to get two weapons at 365+ as sometimes you'll get fucking lucky on one with blessings and skills. NOTE: this requires like 300k gold and 2 or 3k plasteel. Plus whatever dio you need for the legendary upgrade.
No. Once you've earned a blessing you can apply it anytime to as many weapons as you like. I thought I mentioned that in the video. My apologies if I didn't, but I'm quite certain it's in there
Hey man, love your content and builds! Do you have a suggestion build for Psyker to complete the 'Power Up' penance? I am having issues maintaining the 4 warp charges. Thanks!
Not really, I don't really do penances. I would say, follow the alternative Voidstrike Psyker build (the one with Warp Siphon). It shouldn't be too difficult to maintain 4 warp charges if you just avoid using your combat ability.
Different weapons all have different stats my friend, that's why I haven't done one. Usually stat breakdowns are covered in build videos where I recommend ideal weapons and the stats are explained in those videos. If you're new to the channel, make sure you check out the build videos :)
@@RealAsianRobot Okey thanks haha playing it already with the quick play option Any specific level, or info? (like avoid auric missions) Thanks for the quick answer!
Random question bro, I just watched a video from a month ago maybe where the boltgun has a recticle, mine does not. Did they remove them from the Bolter completely or is that a different variant of bolt gun? Badass video as always tho
@Tekjive Lol it's why I disapprove of other sources of info ;). They will never help the public and usually only create divides or problems for the console side. It's no good overall and it just confuses everyone
Watched the entire video and have one question. Are all of your unlocked blessings character specific or account wide? If for example it’s not a class specific weapon like a laspistol, does the perk I unlock on my psyker become available to my veteran?
Nice video. Wanted to check the potential changes, but there is still massive timegated rng mess. Plus the whole blessing stuff is overcomplicated on purpose to keep people busy. Back to Vermintide 2.
Hello. What happens to blocked blessings? If I change two blessings, the next two will be blocked. They don't work? Or is it just a blockade from changing them and they work normally?
Hey, nice content. As a new player i did get lots of useful informations about mechanics. But am i right, if i say blessings aren´t shared accountwide? That´s how i understand, hope you may answer it, if we have to gain blessings again on each character. Thx
Blessings are shared account wide for the same weapons. Example: You get the Infernus IV blessing on your Psyker for the Infantry Lasgun. You will be able to put the same Infernus IV blessing on your Veteran for the Infantry Lasgun. To put it simply: Blessings are shared as long as they belong to the SAME WEAPON. I also always answer comments, because unlike some other creators, I don't buy views ;) so I know comments only come from real people. Never be afraid to ask and if I can answer, I will give you an answer
Thx for your reply. I did understand that blessings will be shared by same weapon types. But to me its new to see those blessings shared account-wide. I thought i would have to do this again and again on each character. Thx for explaining. Appreciate
It's because of fractions honestly. Don't mind it too much, it rarely makes a difference. I promise you this. Even if it does, the difference is so minor it won't be worth your time to sweat it out 😁👍. So yeaaaah, it's just how they do the calculations on their end.
Check my recent streams. We are doing heavy testing to see how far they can go. That said I can certainly say, they can no longer compete with Staff Psykers as the guns available to the Psyker are generally unable to penetrate Carapace Armor (which the Staffs are mainly used for). This can be solved with The Deimos Force Sword, but if I am frank, it has far more weaknesses than strengths. I will post an updated build when it is ready though 😁✌️. The one big difference on this channel is that we don't bullshit our audience with fake views and clickbait. We make sure to test LIVE and then explain those results to find the ideal combination for players. So catch the streams if you want to see the entire process, but as soon as I have concrete data. I will make an updated video on the gun psyker
@@RealAsianRobot thanks for the detailed response. I’m pretty happy with the staffs as it is so I’m not too miffed at them not being super viable. And yeah I’ve been perusing you’re psyker vids for awhile for the reasons you mentioned.
I absolutely hate the fact that I necessarely need either two perks / one perk one blessing or two blessing that I need to have on the weapon for it to be optimal for my build this is more RNG-jesus based grinding. At least in vermintide 2, if you packed up enough ressources, you could just reroll until you get the stats you want. I really dont like the fact that two modification locks everything. I am currently spending money to get a revolver with good stats, then upgrade the good ones to blue until i get 2 of the things i need before thanging them later quite infuriating when you want a specific setup for a build
Believe me, it's something we partners have been fighting for since the very start. Once player numbers stabilize we want to push for better QoL changes like this. Full customization should be available to all, that said, we also understand their current concerns. RNG will stretch the game a bit I reckon, until they drop more content. I'm with you that it sucks, but for once I'm actually okay with being patient since they've turned this game around pretty nicely
happy to see we are on the same page do have to say, the class and weapon balance must have been a huge thing to work on. I do hope they might followup fast on the crafting changes doe. But hey, they already did a huge huge chunk of work here, so I gotta appreciate it at its just value@@RealAsianRobot
@splentforcer1475 Definitely, if it wasn't such an impressive turn around. I'd probably still be banging on the devs doors for other changes, but for now I'm guesstimating about a month or so before they start rolling things out again. First they need to stabilize their game (and deal with the minor issues now that we have full crossplay). Once it's all sorted. Then we can really rock and roll. Tbh I'm more excited for their eventual content drop. After all their weird vox transmissions, I hope it's a new enemy or something
@@RealAsianRobot update on my side Just looted the perfect revolver I was looking for lol (+25% dam vs maniacs and with the hand Cannon III blessing with above than average overall good stats) Seems like grumping loud enough worked
To me, it's because they want to "extend" the available content. I dislike it too, but nothing we can do. Game is fun enough to keep me playing, but I'm hoping for an improvement
Did you already modify 2 perks? As stated in the video. You can only make 2 modifications per weapon. Once you've modified 2 items, you cannot modify anything else. This is all explained in the video 😁👍
It's literally a gacha system. So luck is a huge factor. Buy enough copies and some will be good. Unfortunately this system is why barely 5k people play this game rn
Ok this is the one hardest thing I learned from this video; stuff doesn't share between different weapon types. The grind is going to be long. Was wondering why the hell stuff I turned in didn't show up in rebless.
Yeah, it only shares on the same weapon type. Thankfully the gameplay loop is fun enough that I don't mind. Also it shares across characters so I use my Vet blessings for gun psykers and vice versa lol
Doesn't work that way. My newbie guide will cover it. Weapon MKs simply offer differences in fire rate, base damage etc. Higher mks aren't necessarily better 😁
So are there modifications or buffs for the weapons and classes? Like zealots use auto guns, veterans laser guns but I can use the laser gun as a zealot and autogun as a veteran?
The guns and weapons available to each class is based on what the class itself can use. Some weapons are class exclusive. That said, most auto guns and Las guns are available on all classes (except Ogryns). However whether those weapons are viable or not depends on the build. I am a Psyker main so I am finishing the Psyker builds first. After that I will work on Veteran. Good build quality takes time unfortunately, however you can experiment with each class and see what suits you
@RealAsianRobot are the blessings the same across classes? For example, are there warp/peril related blessings for autoguns on psycker that obviously wouldn't be present on zealot/veteran?
@lovebus00 no. Blessings on weapon types are the same across all classes. A recon lasgun on the Veteran has the same blessings as the recon lasgun on the Psyker 😁👍
@exoticfable9120 no spam tier 2 (uprising). I have an old vid on XP. It should roughly explain the system. It depends on how fast you can speed run the content basically
@@RealAsianRobot you rock thank you so much ill watch this as soon as i finish this video lol totally not watching this while i work from home shhhhhhh
The MKs just have different firing rates, damage and playstyle basically. A higher mark isn't necessarily stronger than a lower MK. So test each MK in the meat grinder and see which one feels good in your hands. Then test in combat and see how it holds up
@@RealAsianRobot Yeah I have been playing since beta, I guess not enough for that. I have a crap tonne of diamantine but I keep running out of plasteel
@adthgu6336 depends on how much you spend I guess. I am pretty chill on blessings. I don't really need all tier 4 blessings in most cases. So when I get them, I get them. I'm more focused on perfect stats usually, so I rarely spend my plasteel and diamantine. Order Dockets are the big one for me lol. I even quit in May temporarily until now when the game made a comeback. So yeah lol
@adthgu6336 yeah I don't bother. Instead I just keep clearing the auric missions and getting good stuff occasionally. Works well enough for me. Stats are more my concern lol. That and melks daily offering,, that's where I find most of my goodies
Please do not bring up Dauntless on my channel. In case you didn't know, Phoenix Labs supports racism against the Asian people and I will happily offer you evidence of this if you'd like to see it. Supporting Phoenix Labs and their game Dauntless is the same as supporting racism. Hence we do not allow it to be mentioned on this channel as I don't want my partners or sponsors linked to such a terrible company. I encourage you instead to follow the games that I currently play as they are generally better.
Welcome to Darktide. I hope you will enjoy this game! Let me know if the Newbie Guide is helpful to you. For more advanced gameplay tips and tricks be sure to come to the streams 😁👍
As 380 is the max roll, what is the max any category can be? Like can damage be higher that 80? Because there is 5 stats on a weapon right? (damage, mobility, etc), so 380/5 = 76 so if one stat is higher than 76 then another stat has to be lower?
@@tycho600 Just spam STANDARD Damnation missions, there is no increase in plasteel for Auric Damnation missions, so STANDARD is best and easier to complete fast
It's because there are details of everything you need. The vid is timestamped, if you want something short and useless, there are many other channels you can reference. If you want to really learn how to use every system in the game properly. Sit and watch and actually learn it all. Your choice my dude.
No lol. You're not supposed to have anything above 380. If you do, that shit is bugged to heck, or you just got the coolest illegal weapon ever lol. There are some screenshots of shit like that floating around but I've personally never rolled one or seen one (my game is unmodded as well so it could be that). Either way, you're not supposed to have anything bigger than a 380 base (for now)
