Jamie wasn’t Upset about hearing about Joffrey dying because he wasn’t really sad about his death. He was a horrible kid. Jaime knew it. There was no need to do anything to Lady Olena. She was going to die drinking the poison. And telling Jaime to tell Ceresi. Lady Olena. Even in her last hours of life . She beat Ceresi. It’s the coldest line EVER. LADY OLENA was a G. A Boss to the very end!!!
"She beat Cersei".....lol.... no the fk she didn't..... i love olenna, but calm down.... cersei obliterated tyrell blood completely..... if that's defeat then I'll love to be constantly defeated by my enemies.....
@@JaQuittaWilliams Jamie was the one who thought Tyrian was innocent and then when he said free, Tyrian murdered their dad and he assumed that meant Tyrian was guilty of Joffrey‘s death too Finding out his brother really was innocent, and he was right to trust him was a great relief
Oberyn had a very strong moral code. Killing Myrcella went against everything he believed in. It was disrespectful to murder an innocent young girl in his name.
Bran is long gone. Notice how he tells Sansa “I’m sorry for what happened to you” then goes on the mention the wedding dress she looked good in, knowing damn well what Ramsey did to her in that dress Smh
For all his faults, Jamie takes pride in being a knight. Remember when he didn't kill Ned because it wasn't honorable? He gave Lady Olena his word that there would be no pain, and he kept his word.
Oh and can we talk about Indira Varma’s (Obie’s girl) acting? Saying everything with her eyes and body language when she’s gaged and locked up? Phenomenal. There’s a scene where Dany is acting her ass off too, and that’s much much later. All in the face
The line that Tyrion said "As a friend once told me, 'Give me ten good men and I'll impregnate the bitch" is a quote Bronn had earlier in the show, so he's referring to Bronn.
When granny says “I’d never seen it work” means that she didn’t know the poison would be so violent, she thought he’d go to bed and die in his sleep (like the poison Jamie gave her), not explode blood in front of the entire court and absolutely destroy every relationship the crown had. And I’m like 90% sure that the choice of poison was from Little Finger who knew, pulled off the hit and made everything chaos to his advantage.
@@davidgorman994 I still think it’s funny how quickly she was ready to cast Jon aside after he left. I guess he could still be king in the north but he wouldn’t have had a castle anymore which would be an odd combination
Ceresi getting her revenge on the sandsnakes was the ONLY one I thought she was right to do. Oberyn offered to fight for Tyrian. He was winning. He could have killed the Mountain BUT he got too overzealous and made that one slip up and was killed by the mountain. Marcella should not have been killed for that. Oberyn made a mistake and died. So killing Marcella was wrong. Ceresi got her back the same way she got Marcella but Better.
@@Rash23215Ahh, if Cerci had been smarter, she'd have cultivated the Tyrells as allies. I'll give her the revenge she took on the Sand Snakes. Taking out Marcella was foollish and bad strategy.
@@M11969 lol.... why would she suck up to that manipulative b itch margaery?? be for real..... just because u like the tyrells doesn't mean cersei should.....
I never understood why they made Arya so cold to Hot Pie, yet so warm, friendly, funny and caring to the Lannister soldiers at the campfire. She has changed, but it always made me a bit sad that they did not show something very warm between them. Hot Pie kept trying and I guess she was told to play the scene as "Arya is distant". I get it....but still it would have shown her humanity too if she had also been warmer to Hot Pie....and that was what also got her off the War Path and towards home.
@@a.j.1819 NOt really...she was serious. "Try not to get killed"? That is not warm. She was totally distant and made a couple of quips. AS i said, she was friendlier to the Lannister soldiers.
That’s badass. I don’t often like what I hear about the books. Maybe people just share the gruesome stuff that doesn’t play well out of context, but butterflies that aren’t toxic to the islanders… that’s cool as hell.
13:29 What's crazy is Ned did know that Robert sent men to kill Danny in her crib AND when she was pregnant but he detested it vehemently, leading to Ned and Robert ending their friendship for a while.
Dany was obnoxious every since she bonded with Drogo. The first sign was she was ok with women and children being raped and people being enslaved and killed just do she could get the money to get ships to invade and take over westeros. She was ALWAYS evil." Bow down or I am killing you". She uses poor people. They become slave to her but not in name. They have to fall in line. She was evil since season one. Yall just liked how she looked.
no guys. granny died without *excruciating* pain just like *Myrcella* . if i had to bet i would say it is the *same poison* that ended myrcella. same poison Cersi lip kissed the oberyn's daughter with in this episode. Myrcella didn't die like Joffrey. everybody hated joffrey so it was no surprise they (littlefinger, granny, etc) wanted to make the joffrey's death as painful as possible and teach lannisters a lesson about consequences. jaime just walked away because in deep down he knows joffrey deserved that and jaime moved on.
Dany has birthed dragons, seen people using magic, and can survive any level of fire. A warlock told her that her dragons made his magic stronger. So odd that Danaerys of all people is willing to treat white walkers like most people have already. It's not as simple as just disagreeing with someone, it's saying "You are wrong about what you say is a THREAT TO EVERYONE." Even if you don't believe the specifics- Why can't you err on the side of caution and get prepared in the smallest bit just in case? People just completely write off anything the walkers have done, they don't want to wait to hear more or look into things more- They immediately jump to thinking "They couldn't be real so I'm not gonna help you in any way". Dany of all people not believing doesn't make sense considering that she helped birth dragons from ancient eggs, she met a warlock who told her that her dragons were bringing more magic back into their world and was making his magic stronger. All of that, and immediately dismiss white walkers in the same way every other old, stupid lord in Westeros has? (She has beasts born from FIRE. Why wouldn't ICE-powered creatures seem so absurd to her? It's almost like it's a balance in nature- Maybe fire-based dragons are MEANT to handle the threat of ice-based White Walkers?) The biggest thing that annoys me about people thinking that White Walkers are a myth that never happened- WHY DOES THE WALL EXIST THEN?
🔥 reaction like always my boys . If you haven’t seen them I feel like a Stranger Things and/or Ozark reaction after GOT would be fire . Regardless we locked in 🤝🔥
As much as I love oberyrn nobody forced him to fight he chose to do that Myrcella was entirely innocent and it wasn’t right for them to kill her so in that respect I understand cersei’s actions to an extent
Exactly why I LOATHE the Dorne storyline. Oberyn was not murdered. He willingly gambled with his life and lost. And he would have never approved of killing Myrcella as revenge.
It was disrespectful of her to kill an innocent young girl in oberyen name. That was his entire motive for hating the Lannisters He said himself he found that morally repugnant behaviour
I wasn't sure that Dany offered more than resources to help mind the dragon glass. I also believe Jaime was trying to be honorable. He'd given Olaena his word about the poison. Still enjoying this journey,
I know y’all said you weren’t going to do history and lore, but I got another $50 superchat for season 7 lore. It’s the most packed and I think it will be more than enough.
Many people didn't understand/don't understand that scene with Dani and Jon at first, obviously the "threat from the north" doesn't matter to her because she didn't see it and everyone thinks the white walkers are pure fiction. Her priority is to take the throne, if she walks around freely letting anyone, especially a man, call themselves king, no one would ever take her seriously as a queen, she has to position herself as an authority.
36:26 that little gasp was the best 😊 In the books, before he dies Commander Mormont tells Sam to tell Jorah that he forgives him and that he wants him to come back home to Westeros and take the black. Sam and Jorah haven't met in the books yet. Jorah also isn't the one that has greyscale, it's another character that isn't in the show.
She didn't have to come and ask for anything. That was her fault. She just should have handled it the way Aegon did and got it over with. She maneuvered like she didn't have 3 large dragons and lost her leverage bit by bit for it. Strangely hitting hard and fast probably would have lost the least number of people.
As much as I hate Little Finger, he was giving her decent advice. Consider all angles play out your strategy in your mind and anticipate your enemies moves.
PLEASE remember during these last 2 seasons that the writers are bad people and rushed the ending, so everything that happens in these 2 seasons doesn't count lmao
PLEASE remember that yours and other peoples whiny opinions aren’t facts so don’t state them as if they are. people who actually paid attention to the characters throughout the whole series understand and appreciate season 7/8 and don’t whine and bash the writers just because their faves didn’t get the ending they wanted. clown
I'm willing to bet that they didn't read the books. Just like most people that watched the series. WE DON'T CARE! Why can't you just let people enjoy the show on their own? What's your goal by bringing this up? I'm just curious.
@@23gobears oh, get away. this was an un serious post, im all for people enjoying things. im not the over zealous fanboy/girl who thinks things are to go exactly like the source material. smdh.
@23gobears a comment you could have avoided yourself, if u didn't like it. have no time 4 bk and forth with some random person on the internet, have a good day.
Man how many times have you seen GOT or read the books? Stop getting all pissy about everything because people don't catch everything... "Yet again..." Save it.
@ I’m not gonna sit here and pretend I got EVERYTHING on my first watch through, however I can put two and two together especially when it comes to common sense. We’ve been seeing Dragonstone since season 2, if they didn’t know Dragonstone is on an island that’s their fault 🤷🏻♂️ Also yes, I say “yet again” quite a bit with them because they’re dumb af. No common sense when it comes to the show of seemingly IRL common sense 🤷🏻♂️
Both wrong, the best line of the series is Robb Stark: "this one was only the watcher, hang him last so he can watch the others die" and its not even debatable 😂
