I really really love it that Dianna Riggs, after a long career and in the the twilight of life got to have a role like this and in her very last scene got to deliver a line so epic that will be remembered for decades if not all time. "Tell Circe, I want her to know it was me"
Oh, well that means my reaction was accurate! For some reason on the version I used for this video edit it said high! I thought he said high when I was filming it so was well confused ahahah!
26:17 is a big part of the reason I love your reactions so much; the emotion you emit is so infectious and authentic, it almost feels like I'm watching the episode again for the first time. Great reaction as always, can't wait to see the next one! 🤍
Wow, you have been busy, Hannah. Thank you for dropping this reedited reaction. Lady Olenna went down like a real Boss. Poor Tyrion had no idea Casterly Rock completely ran out of gold years ago. Cersei and Jamie used Casterly Rock as bait. Now the unsullied lost their ships and will have to make a long march across the land.
Always a joy to watch your reactions! I'm glad that you still took your time to record despite everything that's going on :). And glad, you had a great time! May the good times go on, Cheers 🍻
You should check out Olenna - Dianna Rig in her sixties spy show called The Avengers. It's part of the idea where Austin Power's came from in the mind of the 60's spy. You and Ash could have a blast as them for a costume. They were on re-runs on public television when I was a kid and I had a huge crush on her.
Seems like she had a little glitch somewhere...Almost 40 of us got to see this the day before the premier. Video was still marked as "unlisted" even .;) She fixed it after 3-4 hours...
Four and a half to five hours is "quite a long journey?" You Brits are so dang adorable, I could just hug yer neck! Oh, and I love your farm fresh peaches, too!
I know most Littlefinger scenes you just got to roll your eyes at and assume everything he says is BS manipulation. BUT you have to admit in that scene with Sansa, his advice was genuinely good. He was basically telling her to always be on guard and to never trust anyone, which realistically would apply to him as well.
8:23 It's crazy, cause in season 1 Ned strictly spoke out against sending more assassins after Dany, after Dany married Drogo and got pregnant. That's literally the reason he resigned as hand in season 1, because he didn't want to take part in the killing of Dany.
@rachelmorris2254 correct. Oberyn knew what he was getting into against Gregor and signed up for it. Myrcella never had a choice and even fell in love with Ellaria's in-law cousin and respected their house.
That has GOT to be the most disconcerting thing....a dragon skims your head....you drop to the ground, and all of those who live there are unphased, and one says, "their mother is waiting for you."
Admitting she was behind Joffrey’s poisoning isn’t “playing him” lol Playing him would be while they were talking another army came up and attacked Jamie’s army. All she did was give him the truth lol
well she did because if she told him or cersei before she killed joffery she would have gotten a worse death she took the wine and then told them and it wouldn't matter what he'd do because she was dying anyway so she got out of a painful/shameful death tbh
12:45 - 15:12 Lol Hannah might be a much better person than me because I did not feel a single ounce of sympathy for Ellaria and her daughter during that entire scene in fact I was actually cheering for Cersei, Myrcella was innocent she never harmed anyone. Ellaria losing Oberyn and Cersei losing Myrcella are two completely different scenarios, Oberyn chose to fight in the trial by combat and by doing so he knew there was a possibility of him dying and let’s not forget that Ellaria’s daughter was complicit in Myrcella’s murder so if you ask me I would say what Cersei did was justified and well deserved
All I can say is I accidentally saw a GOT short on my feed (I don’t want spoiler alerts, so avoid opening) containing a header that told me what was going to happen. I’m SO Pissed!! How stupid can they be to plaster a major spoiler as a header? I’m not even sure I want to finish watching the series now.😡
haha at this point if i met the mother of dragons i couldnt help but mock her a bit by calling her "the holder of titles"... i would def burn at some point around her, now way i could not poke fun here and there and at the worst of times im sure.
Why doesn't she carry the antidote in her pocket? Yeah bc they just let prisoners keep all their equipment and gear 😂. That's like asking why a guy in prison doesn't have a lock pick on him. He's in prison .... u don't get to keep things on u
So Riverrun required an actual siege, but Highgarden was a walk in the park? While it was nice to see Jaime using a tactic used against him by Robb Stark, Highgarden fell too easily. Also to the armchair generals saying they should have taken King's Landing instead of Casterly Rock, I still say that Euron Greyjoy and the Iron Fleet were still a wildcard. Being able to take something doesn't mean the same as being able to hold something.
Good reaction and I’m glad you enjoyed it but for me it’s one of my least favourite episodes, all need to be done in two weeks and both army’s have two sail down past the Stomlands, then Dorne and up past the Reach to the Westerlands. Winterfell and King's Landing are 1,460 miles apart so the island of Westerson is massive.
Tyrion as hands is the most illogical writing in the story. He made bad choices throughout especially Marine and then he's rewarded lol. Absurd and illogical.
Nice intro...I can do without Taylor Swift's music, but the way she Triggers MAGAts is absolutely delicious. 😋 Almost makes me a Swiftie. 😉🤩 3:23 16:04 Two of my three favourite characters, together again at last. 3:39 HA! The Lady is as Wise as she is Lovely. 👍😻 4:58 The dance of dialogue in this scene is bloody brilliant. 6:02 Fear not M'lady....Valar Morghulis. 😉 23:38 This one too. Lady Olenna died as she lived...like a Boss. 💯👍 24:34 Jamie is really giving Trump supporter energy here while Olenna is the rest of the civilized world attempting to explain actual reality. Hopefully actual reality goes better than this...😬
It is really quite a crime the way they "portrayed" Casterly Rock in this... such a humongous letdown. The Tyrells got a fairly decent depiction of their seat of power at least, but in the same episode. What a shame. The two richest houses (historically) and the Lannisters gets some sandstone barracks. Both should have been better really. Travesty!
