OH LORD IT'S HARD TO BE HUMBLE 

My grandpa sang this song all the time. When some of his thinking ability went away, I started singing this to him today. Incredibly, grandpa remembered it and sang it with me. Not necessarily a touching song, but that was a touching moment.

This was my dad's song. He would play it at the local watering hole just to get his friends attention. He has been gone for almost 30 years now, but still missed and loved. Miss you Dad...

I listen to this when I am down. It's beautiful! I instantly feel better. I don't even know how I knew this song but when I heard it for the first time I was 18 years old and I loved it then and now 30 years later. still priceless or I should say timeless.

i love this song, my husband worked for a plumbing company and the owners wife loved to write things, so one Christmas she wrote words to this song about my husband which were very funny.

this is the way i feel all the time....its very hard to be humble...when your perfect in everyway....and i do enjoy looking in the mirror....and let the truth be know...i am 63 and i should never look this good at this age...i am beginning to worry...will i ever look like my age...????....yes its hard to be humble...can't wait to look in the mirror...to know me is to love me....i must be a hell of a man...but i am doing the best that i can.....

@rosemarie443 oh i have not had to face the IRS as of yet....because i am still working...but to tell you a story when i was working a couple of years ago..i asked this service guy who was 59 at the time and i was 61 and i asked him a question about social security...and he said...why would you be asking questions about that..only the older people should be concern about social security...what can i say...he though i was younger that him.i tell you rosemarie...its quite fustrating...at times..
