Great reaction !! I love watching you discover these legends from decades past. Yes, Paul was a member of The Beatles. This song was from his first solo album titled "McCartney". It was released in 1970, shortly after his break up with The Beatles. He went on to have huge success as a solo artist and with his own band "Wings". He's still going, recording new albums, even at age 80.

Always been amazing song. I remember one time it was used for his daughter’s Stella’s runway fashion show. After Linda died. The last song she used as Paul sat in the front row was her dad’s song (this one) to his late wife. Paul cried. Another amazing McCartney song is My Love. Slower, very, very romantic & beautiful. I LOVE this song so much! Thanks for reacting to it. You can't beat The Beatles or any of their solo members. Paul is iconic. This is about his wife LInda, the woman in the video. They were soulmates until her death. The 'middle of something' he was in was the break-up of The Beatles. He's been with some of them since he was a teenager, been through life changing events, and the break-up was very difficult. Linda was his grounding force & helped him get through it. After his solo career he formed Paul McCartney & Wings....they have many, many hits as well, an incredible group. Linda was in that band with him.

You liked this one then check out his song "Oh Darling" from The Beatles "Abbey Road" album. He absolutely shreds the vocals on it. Also, another great solo one of his is "Band On The Run" a classic which was a huge hit released in 1973.

Paul has been showing that he could truly whale since the very early days of The Beatles. For example just check out the audio of their early hit which was a cover, it's called Long Tall Sally. Used to drive audiences wild and in Hamburg Germany, the manager tried to write it into their contract if they couldn't play it because people always tore the bar up. But they would go ahead and play it anyway, laugh. He can sing the most sweetest songs ever like Michelle My Belle and Yesterday but then, check him out really wailing on songs like Why Don't We Do It In The Road, Oh Darling, Hey Jude, Helter-skelter, just on and on. Yeah man he just tears it up on this and then he's so gentle and melodic, I love it. Great reaction.

Maybe I'm Amazed is the only solo Beatles song that to me truly sounds like a song made by the group. Everything else you can just sorta tell, even the really good stuff.

Paul took a little ditty he made up while while playing on a slide with his new step daughter Heather (pictured in the video) and turned it into the first heavy metal rock song ever recorded Helter Skelter. It's on The Beatles White Album. Check it out!

Paul of course was a member of the Beatles and one half of the legendary Lennon- McCartney songwriting duo. He went on to form the highly successful group Wings, once the Beatles broke up. Check out their Live And Let Die theme song from the Bond movie of the same name.

I got to see Paul McCartney live at Fenway Park in Boston in 2013. Absolutely legendary, especially during the song "Live And Let Die" when there were fireworks being shot off from on top of the Green Monster and into the night sky. During the encore, Rob Gronkowski jumped onto the stage and started playing air guitar *almost* as good as Ok Sceez does!

Sceez, you are one of the best! How you don't have a million subscribers by now is amazing. Yes, Paul is from the Beatles. He predominantly played bass and sang lead vocals on about half of their songs. You might know a song he wrote with Kanye, called "FourFiveSeconds" with Rihanna on lead vocals. If not, you should do a reaction to that one. As far as the Beatles, I know it's hard to get their stuff through copyright (which is probably to be expected from the biggest selling musical artists of all time), but it would be great to see you react to the Beatles song "Come Together" off of their "Abbey Road" album. That one, and the live rooftop performance of the song "Don't Let Me Down". Peace
