@@nobnobington6207 i mean they locked all the kids in the school in a warzone with a catastrophe coming without adults, supplies or any security Yeah they didn't kill the kids directly but they set it up for it Is like saying the explosion wasn't your fault when you left the c4 next to w
This reminds me that Reunion is a byproduct of war. They aren't good people, but not blindly bad people. Some really just trying to survive against the discrimination. They too help the infected, while making a community for their so called home.
Yeah to be fair that isn't entirely true. Yes, there is definitely nuance among the different Reunion members, but a lot of them are still portrayed like complete fanatics. The problem is that the fodder members of Reunion are treated as pure bad guys, and they make up a significant part of the story all the way from chapter 0 to 8. The nuance I mentioned usually comes from specific members of Reunion and their underlings, aka Faust and the phantom crossbowmen, the Yeti Squadron led by Frostnova, and if I'm leniant, Patriot's shieldguards. That + the people that actually left Reunion and were encountered separately, so Big Bob Mudrock's squads. Which is uuuuh, not the best writing in the main story, it really becomes jarring after while because it really ends up being "Oh Reunion is terrible but wait, not these guys from Reunion, but the org is still definitely terrible !"
Hey hypergryph, can we have a what if scenarios that is non canon, but the story would have been different, like frostnova actually lives and becomes playable. A lot of people are going to pull for her so i think its a win win situation
@@kobeyashi6981 IS3, but happy. It won't be. It'll constantly hammer into you the fact that it is just a what-if scenario, so much so that the knife in your chest gets twisted hard the moment you see the IS tab. At the same time it'll give you the sweetest moments in the game: Reunion becoming a paradise for the Infected alongside Rhodes Island. Talulah and Ch'en becoming the sisters they were supposed to be. FrostNova having fun with Blaze and the Yetis, free to touch people without protective gear. The Shieldguard doting on Rosmontis. Mephisto rivaling the best singers on Terra, Faust trying his best to sing along with him. Patriot finally allowed to rest and be with his new family in Reunion and Rhodes, free of the pain, his body restored without Originium, the pain he has carried in his heart finally set loose to eventually become distant, bittersweet memories... You wake up. All you hear are machines monitoring your health. "Simulation Complete", says PRTS. Right. It was just a simulation. Nothing more. Right...
I have to say that every single time that patriot or his shieldguards are present in a CG, it so badass and menacing!! Also depression has return once more....
Note: this is just chapter 0 to 8, we are getting chapter 11 in CN server (Chinese server) and yet we have a bunch of events with the lore focusing more on other countries rather than Rhodes Island. For example Darknights memoir, focusing more in a group of mercenaries in Kazdel.
The threat of the seaborn consuming all of Terra in IS#3 along with skadi, Ishar Mla and the rest of the abyssal hunters. You also got vigilo giving some answers to Pre-Amnesia doctor and babel while raising 10 more questions for each one answered.
From the translation of Kal's new module, it seems that she knew of a time when Originium either didn't exist or was rare enough that it didn't do much to Terra. "She had to restrain her memories of the Teekaz, will herself to not think back to the times before Originium shaped life on Terra, to forget those possibilities that faded away long ago. These Teekaz, maybe, hard maybe, they're proto-Sarkaz; and, I am reaching here, maybe the Teekaz made Originium, and maybe Kal even had a hand in it. It might be man-made, but it might not be a terror weapon. Maybe it was supposed to be a super-material, the ultimate energy source that will push humanity forward into a new golden age. Maybe it was supposed to be the magic version of firearms in a world where beings like the Feranmut exist: The Great Equalizer in warfare, to be used by the weak to be able to fight the strong in equal footing. Edit: The Teekaz are proto-Sarkaz, Kal'tsit says it in one of the Chapter 8 story sections.
Wait really? I thought this be a one season anime just to promote the game and based how great the animation looks in the anime I thought it would take more time, but I guess this season supposedly being only 8 episodes kinda helps. Now I don't know Wether to play the game after this season ends or just wait for the next season.
@@Darraya55 haha no worries. U were prob confused since the video is talking abt arknights but the person most prob up arcane bcz of the theme song used in this video, Enemy- Imagine dragons.
Arknights lore is why I find Operators so interesting. They live in a harsh and cruel world, but what they make of it is their own. Each of them take on a world view wholly unique. Some face the disease with optimism, some see it as a chance to renew their life. Most people in Terra aren't wholly good or bad, they are created by the circumstances and forged by their will to live.
As someone who played the company until the final of fields after Lernyhog (or something like that) I really liked Chernybog section, like if this game ever gets its own anime, Chernybog might feel like Arcane level if executed well
I really love how Arknights story starts off. Like "hey, our mission is to help the Infected" and the entire prologue is fighting exclusively against the Infected. _That's your clue that the story may not be very simple_
