The band consisted of three brothers Charlie, Ronnie, and Robert Wilson; and it was named after streets (Greenwood, Archer, and Pine) in remembrance of the Tulsa race massacre in the historic Greenwood neighborhood in the brothers' hometown of Tulsa Oklahoma. After 43 years together, they retired in 2010.

I remember they played this at the skating rink. It was popular when the Michael Jackson album Off the Wall came out. They had an air hockey machine, Space Invaders and Defender for those who didn't know how to skate but wanted to be there anyway. It was the social hub for all the teens before they got their licenses in Blue Mountain, Alabama 🤣🤣

@@fleaflicker1451 Skating was the sht. Especially when you were to young to drive but old enough to want to hang out and check out boys/girls. First time I made out with a boy was a dude I met at the skating rink. Good times.

@@Comrade_mommy Yes, all those memories came back! Did you guys have races, hokey pokey and last man standing? Couple skate was so nerve racking, "please hands dont sweat, dont sweat!"😆😆

Couples skate was the worst when you didn’t have a partner. 😂 I didn’t get to go a lot bc my mom worked a lot but I’d go with my bff who was much cooler then me at that age and always had a bf. I’d be so bummed watching them skate together. I literally dated boys I wasn’t into so I had someone to skate with.

Me too!!! Louisville to Illinois (BFE) 1979 and skating was here but nothing like Louisville Ky!!! Such excellent memories your comment brought up tonight thanks zoey
