You’re right. He’s his usual self calling the plays, but between plays there are these… long… awkward… pauses like he can’t think of anything to say. It feels like heart isn’t in it. He sounds most excited when he’s talking about the rookies and their college careers.
As a child I watched every ABC 7 college football game there was and Keith Jackson set the tone and for some reason the games seemed more magical than anything.
Why would Michigan be treated like they were winless despite winning most of their games in this season up to that point? I mean, it's not like they didn't have any wins at all.

I lived in Michigan in the 70's and 80's. Keith Jackson was so absolutely bias about this rivalry, it was disgusting. Keith lived in Michigan. Rooted for the Wolverines openly, he should have never been allowed to be the play by play man in these games. DOUCHE
Keith Jackson, as far as we know, never lived in Michigan. From Georgia originally, went to college at Washington State and worked in Seattle for several years afterwards, then moved to Los Angeles when he was hired by ABC.
