I have a ‘17 Journey with the filter under my vehicle. I REALLY appreciate that you went step by didn’t leave out the small details, like priming the oils filter seal. Your video is perfect for ladies like myself who want or need to do these things herself. Thank you so much.
Thanks, looks like,you covered a procedure and checked; thiugh I’m priming , or filling Filter properly; AND lube gasket ( checking an d wipe,Housing also for any Debris, or Gasket ,etc) , carefully. Though, I like,to sort of follow Torque guidelines for Filter and Plug nut, etc,interestingly, I use M1 Oil also, and NAPA Gold,( Wix), or Royal Purple Filter...your engine cover is different than my 2015 4 Cyl: similar to some 2014 4 CYLS.......STRANGE. **Incidentally, My GMC CANYON 2007/4 CYL HAS horizontal Filter ( 45 DEG from my Journey), easily accessible, but my full Prime , May & does , spills out slightly on tightenings.....etc. generally,,just reduce volume of oil primer, and / or be sure it soaks in media’s....wipe after and check: though I always wondered why Engineering Designed Filter Housing & and to be put on like,that?. ( GM ENGINEERS, HELP ME HERE??).....I always assumed a FULL FILLED oil Primed filter “ NOT” necessary for oil- starvation prevention on start ups, of course. Etc.
