Good Video. Thanks for that. Be careful not to overtighten the oil filter. Using a wrench like that you can over compress the seal causing leaks. Not to mention you will be cussing yourself out during your next oil change trying to get it off.
Great video. What 5th wheel hitch is that and would you recommend it? We just got our 2022 Chevy Silverado High Country Duraqmax and the 5th wheel is next.
That’s the B&W Companion with the factory puck system. I highly recommend it. I also have a video on maintenance for that hitch. It’s super easy. The Duramax with the Allyson 10 speed is great, I hardly even know there’s a 16,000 pound trailer behind me.
Did you seriously advise using a torque wrench on the oil plug? Lol. Also, oil filter wrenches come in handy because most of the time the oil filter is too tight. Hand tight is fine, don't use the wrench to tighten it, that's too much.
You’re here watching my video then giving me advise, lol. Every nut/bolt has a proper torque spec on the vehicle. It is wise for me to tell all the viewers to also follow manufacturer specs so they don’t over or under tighten and cause serious problems. Not sure why you watched an oil change video if you already know what you’re doing. Maybe you’re just a troll, anyway have a great day!
Why didn't you just drained both oil pan and oil fluid erase at the same time?? And let it drained for couple of hours...lift up your passager side higher,like drive over 2 wooden boards... just do it right... thats expensive truck...
