Hi, did you find the cause of the problem? My car has the same issue. I replaced the oil pressure sensors but the problem is still there.

TechnologyBuddha exactly the same, comes up after 40 min urban traffic. but on highway speed never happened. i’m gonna clean my sump/pump oil pick up, check the time chain and change oil.

Hi so the guy I bought it from lied about changing the cam follower, and it was destroyed causing extensive damage to the engine. Cams, chain in the oil pump was destroyed. Metal shavings were everywhere. Just purchased a new engine for it.

You mentioned you car was smoking this is obviously a sign of low oil pressure and lack of lubrication, did you hear any unusual loud noises? Before you attempt to start up your car again you should check the oil level by pulling out the dipstick and also by looking at the oil cap to see If there's any signs of oil lubrication and if there's not then you could add some oil at this point , also if there's oil in the dipstick and oil cap pay attention to the texture and color if it looks kind of milky then you have a blown head gasket as a result of the car overheating (very bad news) , if the oil looks normal then your problem could be the same as the one on the video (bad oil pressure pressure sensor) . Good luck I hope you find the problem.

I'm sorry to hear that maybe your problem is something else , there's a another youtuber by the name princeroydel princeroydel ; he mentions that his problem was the PCV valve you should check into it that could fix your problem. Good luck bud let me know how it turned out.

@@RonnyFL1 Hey, check your engine pression maybe you need to change your oil pump. My gti is in the garage right now. They rebuilt my entire engine.

I don't have any personal experiences with Audi cars but usually oil pressure switch is at the back of the cylinder head, if its not there it will be located just above the oil filter, I'm sorry I can't help you out, thank you for watching my video.

You could have a genuine oil pump failure. FSI motors are well known for this

Tried that and didn't work, came to find out the problem was the oil pressure sensor 😉

@@m.f.k515 do you have any codes showing with the scanner? Is there any oil in the oil dipstick and under the oil cap ? If not then that's an indication of a bad oil pump.

I've heard there's some stuff in the oil pan itself but if the engine has no power then that engine is probably toast. F for respects.

@@official13dvls_broknlnk_16 hey so i literally just finished the job, and the pick up tube was super clogged dude, like it was exaggerated badly dude, so my hopes tomorrow is to put new oil in and test drive, and hopefully problem is fixed🤘

@@Thecrowmotorsports dang. I'm from Michigan and am in TN on a trip and just started getting this oil pressure deal and I hope it's just the pressure switch.
