if the tanker disintegrates, with the prevailing winds and currents, the western coast of Yemen will take the largest share of damage. This plan was not fully thought thru.
Every single U.S. president bombs Yemen and Saudi Arabia constantly tries to overtake Yemen. Together, the U.S. and Saudi Arabia steal a major percentage of Yemen's oil and gas. The people of Yemen are poor and starving. Human rights are low. There are constant outside attempts to upset regional and national power. So who is morally right and wrong here?

I have to admit those terrorists known as Houthis, who is being funded by the country of Iran, really have no regard for causing death and destruction in that region of the world.
The Houthis say these attacks on commercial shipping are in response to Israel's war in Gaza. A. This is a Greek tanker. There is no connection between this ship or any other commercial shipping and the war in Gaza, whatsoever and B. The war in Gaza was Hamas' decision. They have attacked Israel over and over requiring Israel to move into Gaza to put a stop to rocket attacks. Then came Oct. 7 when some 1200 Israeli civilians were slaughtered by Hamas terrorists. So the Houthis are saying Israel has no right to finally destroy Hamas and put an end to terror attacks. Much of the world insists Israel agree to a ceasefire. Yet no country would expect that of themselves were they to experience an Oct. 7. In the case of the Houthis, they consider that those Israelis murdererd on Oct. 7 were only Jews, therefore the war against Hamas is unjustified. That's how the Nazis viewed Jews. It is a view that is alive and well around the world, including The West.

Also, empire against small rebels aren't effective. U.S. war college hasn't run a successful campaign against these scenarios. Enlistment in the U.S. military is low and reenlistment is lower. Military command release their opinions to government leaders. The military brass are ignored.
