I think the Oilers are poised to surprise people. We beat a Stars team not playing 100% out game. Yes, Florida is tougher. They are like a hybrid build of Vancouver and Dallas. However, I honestly think we are even depth wise. Yes Florida has the better goalie. But the Oilers have a better defensive structure allowing Skinner to see shots. Yes, Barkov is an unreal 2 way centre. But can his feet catch McDavid for 7 games? Yes, Bennet is a bully. But we have Sam Carrick who is also a bully and much bigger. Yes, they have Matthew, but he can hurt the Panthers as much as he helps them. I think this series is going to be closer than people think. And I believe the Oilers will pull away with this one. We’ve got to dig deep AND mentally be ready for any obstacle.

I remember my favorite player Wendel Clark say something like, you're not playing 60 mins of the game. Whatever ice time you get, just give it your all, if it's 20 min, 10 min or even just 5 min.
