fun fact: jenna choreographed this dance herself and took inspiration from watching videos of goth people dancing at clubs in the 80s :) one of the moves she did is also from a scene of Wednesday in the 60s show!

Well the killings started before Wednesday came to nevermore so he’s been seeing the Hyde even before her arrival. I think he might’ve seen Wednesday in his visions too cuz he seemed to immediately have an attraction to her. (I know the whole Rowan tried to crush her was a thing too but)

It’ll make sense why Xavier isn’t a conscious psychic. (Visions that happen when he’s awake) Because somehow he has two powers. Animating and bringing life to drawing while also being able to predict the future and see things in his sleep - in other words Clairvoyance. I wonder if it’s because both his parents are (possibly) outcasts, but then again Gomez and Mortician aren’t normies and Wednesday only has one power.

The Stoner clique at the school are beings called Gorgons. A Gorgon is a being with snake hair that can turn people into stone with the snake on their head hence why they need to have head a covering on in the school so they don’t turn students to stone. So the guy Enid likes with the snake hair so basically Ajax is like Medusa.

Mythology point : Medusa is a Gorgon, like her sisters. She was a beautiful woman but she got r*ped by Poseidon in Athena's temple. So Athena changed her into a monster with snakes as hair and a petrifying gaze. (The moral of the story is either that white male with power can do anything and women will always be punished for a man's wrongdoing. Or that Athena changed her physical appearance to protect her from other men, while she is still beautiful on the inside.)

The '90s movies are not the original version. It was a comic, then a sitcom and multiple TV cartoons. Part of Wednesday's dance in this is based on a scene from the '60s sitcom where Wednesday tried to teach Lurch to dance.

Nice reaction. Gorgons are a class of monsters that have the power of Medusa. To turn folks to stone with a look. I know this is just plot armor but just like Harry Potter with all the worse things going on where are the stronger older students? They sprinkled in a few adults and few kids around her age. But come on there's isn't a Senior student who can kick butt out there? Story has become a total who dunnit. Which is cool. The dance I'm just waiting for folks to try to pull off in parties and public. That will be when it becomes iconic. Which would be funny that the thing that becomes iconic from a Wednesday show is the dance. There are memes from the old tv show of Wednesday teaching Lurch dance steps. Fun stuff when the memes keep changing the music they're dancing to. Funny how it almost fits to anything. And you look great even in plain all black as you called it.
