Thank you for the walkthrough on how to use! I had purchased one from Amazon, the instructions were simple, however, your walkthrough was more informative and helped me identify the purpose of the suction cups and the fishing line!
I run mine in my birdbath without the spray cap on windy days otherwise I was having to refill my birdbath ever hour in order for it to not run dry and ruin my pump

it actually not a switch it holds up the pump motor and filter. But there could be different water fountains that may have a switch to turn on and off for led lights.
I don't think than can be adjusted. Light shadows will cause it not to spray as strong, but there are no switches on the unit to create the same effect.
