For a family man TVS is a better choice I think, due to broader seat and in terms of fit and finish, but TVS should update immediately the battery for better range with little price increase. Then it's surely a win win situation for both the consumer and the company. Ola,as you said should focus on the product rather than blabbering on social media.

Okinawa and Revolt are like Micromax. Fun fact the owner of Micromax is the owner of Revolt. They are just rebadging. Ola on the other hand bought the entire technology and is manufacturing. Ather is like Tesla or Apple.

I am a proud owner of Chetak... it's been almost 1.5yrs... I bought it when it was initially rolled out..... my scooter has ran 11000 kilometers..... until 60 it picks up really fast and for city commute I don't usually touch 60.... it consistently gives me 100kms per charge even now...... no degradation whatsoever...... to clarify Bajaj has 2 modes eco and sport..... incase u r in eco mode and u give full acceleration like when over taking it changes to sport to give to instant pick up.... and then when u leave the throttle comes back to eco.... if u need continuous power u can ride in sport as well..... built quality is sooper...... no noise no heating power..... it's soo very smooth..... it's got centre stand.... it's got ladies footrest...... it's more of a practical scooter..... even after one year no vibration and as good as new....I am happy and I think it's worth for money... I am planning to buy another EV and took test ride of Ather.... I did not like the built quality..... the test ride vehicle was an year old one it has scratches on the plastics... that is how ours also will be..... power is good but range is less.... it's more expensive than Bajaj when u consider their subscription plans and service bills....

Ola's R&D doesn't feel promising enough. Many ppl are complaining that the range Is cutting short by a huuuuuuge margin comparing to what company has promised after few 100kms of usage , and now the blast issues. Overall i feel ather is well planned and well built thou it's expensive. I wish simple one does the proper r&d and comes to the Market with a bang on product !

Bajaj has the best ride quality among the scooters compared and also one of the most polished without jerky acceleration or vibrations, but the pricing has to come a little down and it will fly in the indian market. It is full metal body and very sturdy, it is built to last.

I ride all the 4 electric scooters, overall ride quality Ather wins. Except additional 25km range of ola, ather wins. TVs and Bajaj not in to the competition. As of now one of my friend completed 51k km in Ather 450. Still the range is not dropped. So ather is the only scooter in the segment provent one

When thinking of buying ev scooter i will prefer bajaj chethak. I had seen 100 more reviews of users who had completed months on chethak. It gives you authentic mileage of 90 to 95 while others are not sure about the actual. Its running modes is fully automatic and self adjusted through the accileration is quite nice feature. In build quality its the number on ev scooter in india. Every part is strong and sturdy. Built to last. Thanks to the bajaj legasy. One important thing is to consider in case of speed.. A scooters safe speed is 70 max... Bajaj delivers this at its best. Its a 100% family scooter which you can use for daily purposes like ur activa...dont like other competers

I chose iQube as it looks classy and promising than the others. Yes ather is also good but when it comes to elders they choose something like a normal style than being funky enough...hence iQube delivers the best..yes not happy with range but will have to see how things work.

for majority of people, scooter is a utility thing ... flat foot board adequate bootspace 60-70 kmph is enough comforatble seats 60-70 km range is enough for a day for most people touchscreen not necessary...we are taking it for travelling and not concentrating on touchscreen while riding

Ola's sales and support are pathetic. Overcommitting to customers which they cannot achieve. Even I had booked the scooter last December. But till now, there is no clarity on delivery. Getting sick of waiting and I am canceling the order. Looks like TVS is the better option The new iQube ST has a range of 145 Kms!!!

Chetak is built like a tank..the purpose of EV will lost if the body of the scooter became scrap after 3-5 years..already reviews coming about the bad build quality of many EV start ups. So i will go for chetak.. Bajaj will last atleast 10 year( lifespan of 2 batteries)

Bajaj chetak has a top speed of 70KMPH , I’ve completed 15,000kms on the bajaj chetak electric in the past 8 months but never had any issues with it . Ather is all well and good but takes a hit on the servicing part because you’ve to buy subscription plans for ather on the other side chetak comes with free servicing under the warranty period.

When you buy the most expensive EV with the lowest range and battery pack and no infotainment screen (serious cost cutting) and still cost a bomb the least they can do is give you free servicing. Nothing special about it. Aether is the best of the lot by miles.

Now I am confused. I was getting inclined towards Ather when you were giving the explanation. However, when you mentioned that we feel all potholes and rumblers while riding, I got inclined towards Chetak. But when you said Chetak is a jack of all and master of none, then again I moved towards iQube. On iQube, you mentioned that it is a niche in handling but low on performance. I think we need to wait 2 to 3 more years to let these vehicles or the ecosystem (charging or battery stations) to evolve completely. As I see range is the biggest concern in all of them. 80 to 100kms (max) and then waiting for 4 hours(average) to continue the journey, is not practicle enough to replace fuel powered vehicles. However my heart is falling for TVS iqube but yes after sometime with more range.

OLA overpromised just like TESLA. No wonder the Fit and Finish and the final product is rough. Just like TESLA. ATHER on the other hand is wayyyyy better. Given the high prices I would personally purchase a used Activa 125 and wait for the prices to drop further in next 5 years. By then the charging infrastructure would be better, EVs would become slightly cheaper and we will have a clear view whether EV is the only Future or just a part of it.

No doubt that there will be many options to choose from in the coming 5 years, but once the government subsidies are gone, the prices will be way higher compared to prices right now, even if the components get cheaper. For example, Tork Kratos R is priced at around 2L ex-showroom, but only because of subsidies, it comes down to around 1.30L on road in Pune, Maharashtra. There's no way the components pricing due to mass production will be reduced so much in the coming future.

Sad that there are not much bikes in the segment...there is revolt,but its small and kind kf of sporty,kratos seems to be good,but waiting for user reviews and comming to my locality,same with rorr..

These four scooters stand out among many EV scooters available in India, with their better build and design. The only issue with Bajaj & TVS is their availability across India. Bajaj Chetak EV got released approximately 2 years back but still limited to few cities. Had this not been the case, they would have got far more sales figures being established players in ICE category across nook and corner of the country.

@@themusclebiker4718 I am riding ather 450x for the past 1 yr, it is good for me, daily 30 to 50 kms, I did save 6k + on petrol till date

Using chetak since Jan 21 completed 15k km's , no problem faced till date. Nice build quality, decent range ( actually delivers 90km). Only problem with chetak is the GREED of Bajaj group. Consuming subsidy benefits by raising base price and not pass on the benefits to us consumers.

What's the logic behind paying EV manufacturers with a monthly fee on top of buying a EV with no lesser than. They don't provide any amount of free recharge! Do they? Are we penalized for reducing emissions!
