Doing the range test in the highest performance mode is pointless i think. The Ather is very aggressively tuned in the performance mode while the chetak isn't. Any range test should be done in a mode which is adequate and usable in normal usage conditions. Only that would create a practical comparison.

Ola product is good but due to sales and service it is loosing the market. Whereas Athers ceo is very smart person, he is not spending on high ticket marketing, but he is paying famous RU-vid channels to do its marketing. Anybody planning to buy electric scooter is looking at RU-vid video to decide and Ather winning the customer though there scooter is practical for school going students. This channel is not an exception and they are promoting Ather because they get some benefit from Ather. Its visible.......

👉🏼Interesting comparison test and appreciate the effort to test scooters against each other on tougher parameters. 👉🏼Wish if you guys could have done a brake test from 50kph or something. 👉🏼I own the Ola S1 (not Pro) since last 7+ months. I have found the scooter practical on all levels. 👉🏼The only reason I stepped into the EV scooter space is because of Ola's pricing and performance package. If not for Ola, most people would have been driving around in petrol scooters. Ather has been in the market for long but it's pricing has kept most people away from EV space. The only other scooter I find practical on day to day basis from this test is the iCube. 👉🏼But from a Value For Money perspective, Ola is a winner hands down. 👉🏼Keeping that in mind, as for the comparison test, Ola doesn't disappoint except for the actual top speed and long range hyper mode. The company has promised few more features in paper which will come through OTA updates (OS 3 update coming soon). Ola's thermal issues are a concern but the company doesn't state the limits of hyper mode. I've driven the Sports mode in Ola S1 for 40+ kms in traffic hours and didn't face any issue. The top speeds (90+) in hyper/sports mode are a concern which anyways happen only on the test tracks and not on our busy roads. Otherwise, the scooter delivers and for me the build quality is superb and I don't find much reason to fault with (except for software glitches). I too wish Ola reverted to being more transparent on their claims but still even with some minuses, Ola still is superb for me. 👉🏼You didn't take the price into equation also. So looking into all factors, Ola is still the best here.

@Lee.S
@Lee.S Год назад
@@RaghavendraKumarVS who asked them to agree with me! I shared my opinion because I'm a user for the last 7+ months. They may use for a day or two and then give their verdict. Earlier journalist used to use vehicles for a longer period of time to give their verdict. I'm not seeing that. Those who use the Ola on a day to day basis know the reality. Trying to ride hyper mode till battery gets over and the battery will obviously heat up (it shouldn't but it does). Based on that result alone, they sort of decided their verdict. I didn't deny some of the issues are there. Even normal mode is capable of overtaking vehicles with ease (for a normal user). Sports mode is for showing off. Hyper mode perhaps if you want to race. I'm talking about practicality. Considering that the range gets reduced, nobody will try to drive in hyper mode or sports mode continuously. But these things will happen only in testing conditions. There are bugs in the software. They don't have enough technicians to cater to minor problems and so there will be delays. They should open more Service Centres if they can't promise quick door to door services, which is the only solution. Switches are rubbery and I wish they had Vida V1 like switches on it. Otherwise there is no rattles, and it's a silent ride with pillion or not. Sporty or sedate it works.

Ather, on the other hand, is more focused on youths and doesn't suit for family purposes. I use cbr250r to commute. After cbr ola is the only scooter I felt to own bcoz of its ride quality.

I have been riding motorcycles for over 20 years & recently moved to an EV that you have listed in your comparison but when was the last time I did a burnout? NEVER. Another thing that you missed in your comparison was the Foot Board Space. I own the iQube S for a little over 3 months and below is why I chose that over the competition: 1. We are a family of three members with our child being 5 years old. The iQube gives me the flexibility to have her stand on the footboard like how she does my Burgman. 2. As the footboard on the iQube is flat, it allows me to carry my groceries easily - OLA Eliminated 3. Me and my wife are on the healthier side, so we needed a scooter that gives us the space and riding comfort - Ather Eliminated 4. The price & service availability along with the delivery timelines was something that was another driving factor - Chetak Eliminated Having driven the iQube for over 2K kilometers, I can absolutely say that I've never felt the lack of power, never had range anxiety, or felt that the motorcycle is not under control. The only negative with the iQube is the inaccurate DTE (Distance to Empty). When I discussed this with officials at TVS (not the showroom/service center), I was told how the DTE is calculated based on an AI technology that keeps in mind previous driving patterns, etc but that can be fixed with an OTA update. Another thing that you missed in your review was the cost that we need to pay for a Smart Technology subscription (Geo-Fencing, Live tracking, Navigation, etc.) @Evo india

If I am riding single I get close to 95 km on one charge (I'm 80 kg). If I am riding with my daughter, I get around 80-85km (Weight of both 100 Kgs) and if we ride as a family I get 70-75 km (total weight 180 kgs) I purchased the iQube as it comes with the TVS brand guarantee. I know Ather & Ola offer better features (like navigation, better-looking app, etc) but as the electric scooter is meant for city riding & I've lived in this city for more than 30 years, I NEVER use the navigation as I know where to go. The things that I do not like about the iQube are: 1. Inaccurate DTE readings, which can be changed through an update 2. The ignition key slot cannot open the boot Hope this helps.

This guy is clearly baiased against ola. Ola will beat all the other scooters in its normal mode itself, as it's top speed is 80km and range is 135km. Sports and hyper mode are there just for fun. Also OLA has got the most powerful motor among the three with ac drive and pwm motor technology and the biggest battery too. Ola is specifically tuned for delayed acceleration for safety reasons. If u need instant pickup u can always change the mode to sport. Ola is the most balanced scooter among the lot.

what about the cheap bild quality what about the useless features what about the initial pickup for 2/3 sec it doesnt even respond due to which i could have met with an accident well they just spoke things which are practical i know ola has the best pickup and the range what will you do all that when it has the worst suspension and the worst handling? Try it Before you blindly comment i regreat buying ola many glitches they didnt even bother to test it in india they just bought the com for cheaper price changed nothing and just started selling i own the both so told it..

@@haroonpaul1997 seriously? Ola has some glitches I agree. I am using it for last 7 months and I love it. The ride quality is too good. I simply fail to understand ur issue with suspension. The vehicle has got a superb boot space and I am 6 feet tall and enjoy the ride quality. I don't touch my Activa from the time I got Ola. U can easily drive at 80kmph because of its smooth suspension n powerful motor. No vehicle is perfect, but if u understand it's strengths and weekness u will appreciate them for what they can offer u. OLA is the most advanced e scooter in terms of technology and has a unique built methodology which gives it very low center of gravity and its worth every rupee u pay as it will only get better with time through updates unlike other scooters.

@@devdevan9091 the front fork i am taking about sir,dudue initial pickup means when you acclerate its almost dead for 2/4 sec then suddenly it acclerates just just with my but i have seen the same problem in showroom and my friends ola,ola is just the same thing which was launched in japan by some company ola just bought it and without even testing it for indians they started selling and dont you have problem with head plastic it gets loose due to cheap build,haan over time through updates it gets better but its still a 1st gen product,i mostly ride it speed on wrap automatically it changes its mode idk why lol and the speed isnt consistant sometimes it just goes off and sometimes it takes time samw with the high speed as well.Looks like you dont notice much things happening around you,i just told it through my personal experience.its worth the price but if you crttise then ola will soon make changes and make it even better.what about ather lol even they are gettung better over updates but your just saying unlike other companies haha

@@haroonpaul1997 Boss I am an electrical engineer and I understand battery,drive and motor technology. If batteries get heated beyond certain temperatures there life cycle reduces. Every company has there own method of optimising battery. Ola has allowed us to enjoy top end performance at a low price point. If u want to ride hyper 115 km /hr constantly than the batteries require lequid cooling which will increase cost and reduce space on the scooter. If u check the market no other scooter is giving the performance that ola is providing. U get top notch motor and drive technology the same which is used in Tesla cars. The scooter was designed in Netherlands as per European standards. If u switch to the sport or hyper mode u can see the instant acceleration. Ola is a superbly designed scooter, u will not be able to understand it until u understand it's design philosophy and it's technology. If u check it's skate board u will find it is very unique and there is superb engineering done around it to give u a 36lt boot space and to keep all the heavy components as close to ground as possible.

It is unfair check the mileage at top speed, because all have not same top speed (one have top speed 95 Kmph and other have 60 Kmph), if you ride a (95-85) Kmph top speed scooter at the speed 60 kmph it can give you double mileage.

There are no rules to testing the limits of any scooter. But this highlights one concern on Ola's thermal issues. And I wish they address this at the earliest. When summers come, this will be common among many users. However, Ola is still a good option and the answer is still there in the test with Ola winning most of the tests. Even if they don't want to give a verdict, the answer is there already.
