I got a drill years ago with one bad battery out of the 2 that came with it, I did that jump trick thought I had done something to solve the problem, but there's a bad single battery inside that needs to be replaced because it drains down again with the same problem. I just never got around to replacing that battery though.. Couple months later I just bought a saw with a 4 Amp battery, now 2 batteries, problem solved..
You should definitely replace that bad battery in your drill to avoid any further issues! It's worth the investment to ensure your tools are working efficiently 👍🛠️.
@@dirtbikeholidays498 please don't put lithium batteries in trash. If battery gets cracked in trash truck and gets wet, it will burn that truck to the ground.
I think this will only work if the "bad" battery pack is not really bad, simply discharged too low for the charger to work. You are connecting the batteries in parallel so that the good one drains into the low charged one so that they each end up with half of the charge of the good one, so you better make sure the good one is fully charged or you could make both too low to charge. However, if the bad pack is REALLY bad - as in having one or more cells kaput - then this will not work. And if you discharge the good pack too much, you may end up in worse shape than before.
Tout à fait d'accord avec vous, avec des batteries au plomb en bon état, ça s'appelle repolariser une batterie après décharge profonde, décharge profonde qui n'est pas bonne pour la batterie.
Yo, I was skeptical at first too, but I think there's some truth to it if the old battery isn’t totally dead. It’s like giving it a little kickstart! 🔋 Maybe not a permanent fix, but it could buy some time, you know? 😅🚀
Sorry to hear about your experience with Dewalt batteries! Check out my video to learn how to restore old batteries and make them work like new again. 💪🔋
I do this with some old Makita batteries that when I put them in the charger, it shows that they are damaged, even when I replace them with new cells, so I use a good battery together with the old one and then it charges normally, and of course it takes longer because the amperage increases, so I save money, because they are very expensive in Brazil!
You don't want to mix new cells with old cells. The old cell will pull the new cell down and drastically reduce the new cell life. If you are going to buy new cells then use all new cells and rebuild the battery using the case for the tool. That way you will have a new battery at a much cheaper price. Batteries are expensive, don't kill half its life before you even use it by mixing it with old batteries.
This is a good hack unless your battery is completely gone. (Which mine was.) I especially like the ending of the video showing the different ways to connect the two batteries.
I'm glad you enjoyed the different ways to connect the two batteries! 🔋 Keep in mind that this hack works best when your battery still has some life left in it.
I just would have put the good battery into my drill too! Make sure to check out the rest of the tips in the video to keep all your batteries in top shape! 🔋💡
No mate the point is that dewalt batteries have a nominal charge if the battery falls below that it wont charge. So hes showing how you can get the dud battery to a state it will charge on the charger
I made mine with crimped spade ends. I got three batteries from two different co workers. That wouldn't charge. After seeing me do it, they made their own if it ever happens again. That was a year ago.
Replacing the old battery with a new one is a good solution! However, you can also try our methods to restore your battery and save some money in the process 😉.
You believe this crazy man Don't you see he cut the video before putting the battery in the charger . You have to have 10 10 vision to unmask the bad...
I appreciate your concern, but the methods shown in the video are effective in restoring old batteries. Give it a try and see the results for yourself! 😉
Yeah this works here n there I jus put mine in a old frig outside or outside in winter ❄️ when its below 30 degrees outside then put on charger if there any good they'll take a charge U can also do cell phone batteries this way I'm outta here!!! Believe it or Not!!!
Bad , bad idea , best you get a book and learn what's inside that battery case , your not fooling anyone all your doing is setting yourself up for a nasty fire.
I tried this and it doesn't work. I took mine apart before I saw this video cept I didn't have a screwdriver so I used my hammer and after I got the case apart I couldn't put it back together. So I was going to glue it but my brother sniffed all the glue up and all I had was my welder. Once I started welding the plastic case together with my plastic rods I had the heat up too high and penetrated into the batteries outer case which caused a nuclear reaction about like Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. Luckily for me I had my welding gloves on and I survived, my brother lost his eye brows, the ability to blink for 7 months and nobody can understand a word he says. The insurance adjuster called me a few bad names that I cannot repeat on here cause I'm already in trouble. My neighbors are all pissed at me and I don't understand why because they all are getting new stuff including therapy and a live-in nurse. I sure wish I would have seen this video before I even began my method but there is no warning on the battery about the power of the flux core mixing with plastic weld off gasses reacting with nuclear explosion like qualities. They say you could see the mushroom cloud for about 37 miles and my brother riding on top of it like a surfer in a hurricane. I would have him tell you bout it himself but he sounds like your gargling gasoline and he can't text cause he was holding the battery case when it erupted. He's fingers are nubs but he is in good spirits and might be allowed to leave the hospital sometime next year.
We're glad you tried to restore your battery! For future attempts, we recommend being cautious with the tools and materials used to prevent any mishaps 🔧🔨.
No funciona, porque la bateria esta completamente seca, nesecita acido dentro de la pila para funcionar, muchos aparatos las dejan secas y es imposible que se vuelvan a usar y menos a reparar...😂😂😂...
The writing on the battery is already changed to minutes 0:18 with minute 3:23 it is clear FAKE does not match the BAD BATTERY LETTER from ROMANIA I noticed this lie
