"Fun" fact the scene where he cried in the toilet stall thingie was real. he was in a super unhealthy mental state at that point and the emotions and tears were all real.

He's always said he wanted to have a family and be a dad. I just hope that now he's back from the military that he can find someone that sees past the GD persona and loves kwon jiyong. He deserves to be happy so much. He always talks about how lonely he is in his songs. "I need somebody. I ain't got nobody." Everytime I listen to superstar he just sounds like he's in so much pain. Aaah sorry for the long comment. GD will always have a special place in my heart. I started listening to kpop in 2008 and introduced it to my mom years later. She's always appreciated GD and his talent/uniqueness. Whenever my mom and I talk about GD I always say that the only thing I wish for him is to be happy and have a family and no matter what he will always be the king of kpop.

part of gd's charm is that he's the emo king, he's either sad or party hard, usually both as u can see, he said he's kind of set a curse onto himself because whenever he's in a relationship he can't help but write a breakup song and soon after they break up for real X'D it's a vicious cycle he's always had trouble getting out of

Dude did you see his design for Nike? The peaceminosone (gd's brand) x Nike Collaboration is 🔥🔥🔥 and he isn't waisting any time he just got discharged and he's already working on those big collabs, it sold out in korea in few seconds and it's a surprise release today, but the worldwide release is in the 23rd i guess... 2 years of military didn't change anything he's still the g dragon and even became more powerful

@@anthonytoo you know the 2017 Kwon jiyong album everybody is telling you about, it was a red USB and when you touch it the red color came from it and after all the red goes away it reveals his birthday in his mom's handwriting it's a concept showing the rebirth of g dragon as himself Kwon jiyong (his real name) , so the same concept he used on the nike shows when the black go away with time it reveals some art by him.

I still love this song, I'm glad you got a chance to react to it! Back when I was a huge gdragon fan that crying scene coupled with the lyrics made me sad because it was real and everyone knew he was going through a lot with depression, his "scandal," and just being the biggest idol in Korea at the time. And yeah, his fashion in hs mvs is always on point.

I love how you just nail the meaning of the song and video within the first minute of the MV. Self-destruction in videos is always relatable & interesting to watch, especially if the song juxtaposes that by sounding deceptively cheerful. I’d recommend “A Boy.” It’s at least 9 years old but still one of GD’s best in my opinion. You’ll probably get some giggles out of his fashion and hair in that one😅

GD is an artist. I can say every music he creates is a masterpiece! He's the very first kpop idol I salute when it comes to music writing and producing next to WINNER's Song Mino.. Gdragon has always talked about how he's lonely . That people believe that once the concert is over he would be partying in clubs but he returns home where he's alone and eats left over food from the fridge . I don't remember but I think it was in one of his documentaries where he talks about how he couldn't handle the fact that in a concert he would get showered with so much love but the moment it's over he's all alone and the inability to grasp whether he is loved or all alone would mentally affect him .I think that this song wasn't about a breakup but more so about his loneliness as an Idol of the then biggest band in Korea.

Jiyong worked really hard and have so much to perfect this GDragon persona that it affected his mental health AND physical health.. 2017 was especially hard, and 2022 looked as if his physical appearance had relapsed. I just wish that the media would stop giving him so much shit and let him live his life in peace. He deserves all that after they berated him for so long.

I recommend you to watch GD - A Boy its such a old song from 2009 but one of my favorites he's not only rapping but singing in that song, also please watch his live performances. The reason why he's called king of kpop is bc he is great performer and has the best stage presence knows how to hype up the crowd.
