I eat 3 dates a day with walnuts and 2 boiled eggs for breakfast with a cup of coffee with no sugar . It gives me great energy in the morning and solved my constipation problem for good.
I eat my dates in overnight oats. 40g oats, 30g chopped dates, 5g chia seeds, 5g golden linseed, 120ml skimmed milk, a teaspoon of peanut butter. Yummy stuff
I have first-hand experience with dates. When I was a teenager, I started getting warts on my hand and arm, and they were spreading. A doctor burned off some of the bigger ones , but they kept spreading. Unrelated to the warts, we got some dates near Palm Springs , CA. I began eating them , and they tasted great, shortly after starting to eat the , the warts started disappearing, and finally all went away! I have never gotten warts again!!!!

I was afraid you’ll say don’t eat dates cause they are full of sugar and will lead to irreversible negative consequences - I am so relieved! I eat a couple of dates stuffed with peanut butter dipped in dark chocolate now and again to satisfy my sweet tooth on a whole food diet. Thank you for not taking that away from me!
Fasting.inteemitant. Then every 3 or 4 wks go 10 days ( only Avagado frist 3-4 days. Then just fluids / green tea black coffee etc for 10 days or more. Will try some dates. Blood sugar stabilzes ( bladder bahaves again ) blood pressure drops 20 pts. Or more No more medications. Took cologan while fasting NO more knee trouble NO sugery needed. Using red light therapy on eyes ( use for horses lol) Take blue berries etc. Starting to fast again. Freind did intermitant fasting Just one steak dinner after work. Operates heavy equip ( not real pyhsicial work.) Had black coffee all day. He was skeeping better and loosinh weight. But hard to do in the winter drving log truck. Need. Calories in cold weather. But others told him fasting NOT good for heart ( has high blood pressure all his life "Big Al" tall and over weight too. Took meds for drivers medicial legs swell up. Lots of drivers do this. Got his medicial for lic. Quite rhe meds. Heart cincerns ( or excuse ) had lost some weight. Bought fast motorbike. ( cylevrated when X wife died -'told him shoukd not do that ) Havent seen him much this summer. Likes tge bars and bikes. Heart maybe an issue. But meanwhile Dr Berg had comment too. Cancer is issue too. So i continue fasting. Not just intermitant. No not Islamic. No not just few times but every morning and about every month. So far its been helping. 1 403 830 4124 Dad lived to 74 getting there very soon. Mom half my dads age gone first. Had issues from Ukrainian starvation as a child. Kids need regular calories erc. Did you know that a date plant that has been extinct for over 2000 years was brought back to life when seeds were found in archeologist site, an absolute miracle. There's a You Tube video on it. Well worth watching that video.
Well..have eaten dates every morning for years….other than just enjoying them..l can’t come up with any reasons they have been helpful to my health..have enjoyed good health all of my life..but recently was diagnosed with cardiac failure?.but will keep eating dates..🇨🇦

I love dates, especially Medjool dates. Once you’ve experienced Medjool you won’t want any other dates than that. Pair them with Brazil nuts they taste like toffee. I usually eat between 5 and 7, sometimes more. Won’t be without dates pretty much daily. Very easy to eat as very delicious.
Subscribed!!! I will add 1-3 dates to my daily diet for a month to see what the effects may be. I like the taste of dates almost as much as I like the taste of dried figs and apricots. I recommend chopping them up and adding them to a 'trail mix' of various nuts and seeds.😇

Yes that's true. They are also mentioned in the Quran. It says, When Mary gave birth to Jesus (peace), God inspired her to shake the dates tree and they fell down, thus she ate them to give her energy.

I love dates, but in the country where I reside, all the packaged dates are too sweet; it seemed as if they're boiled in sugar, so I've stopped eating them!
Another advice I might add is to save the date seeds. You can bake them, then grind them finely. Use them as an addition to your coffee or make a paste for your facial treatment. You will thank me later.
It’s added sugar in processed foods you need to avoid - naturally occurring sugars in whole foods are fine - obviously in moderation - we’re talking about 2-3 dates a day here.

This is a "yes, BUT..." answer to your recommendation. Three raw, dried dates per day is 18 carbs a day... 3 carbs more for the day and I would be completely off low carb for the day. As person who gains weight with a "normal" carb level, within a month, seriously...I would have gained at least 5 pounds... so for many this will not work. I'm small and not tall. I can try one date a day, but even that messes with my carb "allowance." I think maybe you should base dosage on height and weight of the person?

I used to love dates a lot, especially with tee.. until I developed major teeth problems (one molar had to be crowned, two other molars had to be extracted and replaced by implants).

ive beeneating them at night which has causing me to fall asleep the next day and jus a few days ago i fell asleep aftter10 hrs of sleep i found myself while driving in a ditch running into bushes up over road to other side of road taking out someone fence and then tipping over onto passenger side my truck got destroyed!!
I started eating them because of my high cholesterol and for potassium. The pharmaceutical companies don't want us to know these foods that keep us healthy. They want us sick and on their meds for decades.
I'm bummed. It appears Winco just discontinued dried dates from their bulk section. I regularly add 3 or 4 to a green smoothie. They only have the chopped dates with other added flours etc that I don't want. I can get them at Natural Grocers but at +75% the price.
Dates contain a ton of sugar. Also, the common pack of dates in the market is heavily soaked in sugar syrup. Date is a desert fruit and people living in the desert have such a tough life devoid of vegetation. They can eat their dates because they have nothing else, and they need to.
There can be multiple benefits to dates, but like all fruits, dates contain signifcant sugar. So that must be taken into account. If you eat preserved dates, make sure there is no added sugar. Fresh dates must be prettry rare, so most available dates are preserved.
Never thought of that! So far been putting dates in my banana prune shake. Instead of eating chips, I eat dates now as a snack. Delicious, especially the soft ones.
@@yolandaramirez9138 If you don't suffer from gout, then don't worry. But dates are usually heavily sweetened before sale, so that's bad. You can buy unsweetened dates in Chinese stores. My wife likes them in soups. The extremely high sugar content if many sweetened date products means you may want to be cautious - not just for gout, but for diabetes, hypertension, etc. - basically metabolic syndrome. Good luck.
There over 307 dates varieties. Few are sweetened, most are not. They contain sugar, but like honey their sugars are different and do not spike insulin & they have healthy regenerative health properties.

Most sugary foods can be consumed by most people in moderation, but that doesn't make them "healthy". Even though dates, honey, maple syrup and agave nectar have lower GI than table sugar, that's not a ringing endorsement.
