Note: if this video becomes popular, i might make a conclusion. i don't want to make multiple parts to this, i'm going to leave it as a 1 part series (2 parts if it gets popular)
Ironically, the sirens create a heavenly sound. I'm not sure what places use an alert tone for an attack. Here, we would use a wail. The alert tone is used for tornadoes. I'm not quite sure why people use analog interference on digital TVs. Digital TVs pixelate or go blocky and show "No Signal".
I remember the scene from the movie The Day After when the DAHLBERG’s are in their basement and Denise goes crazy. Powerful and sad. She ran outside but, luckily, Steven Guttenberg’s character brought her downstairs again.
Really? Nukes on astoria medford and salem. I understand salem because it is capitol the others are not worthy targets. Portland and Eugene would have made more sense. But thank you for including us in one of these videos
Only a slight change you should have made. Instead of National Emergency Message, you should have used Emergency Action Message. Other than that you did well. Your initial scenario of 12 missiles inbound from an unknown enemy is plausible if the missiles are sub launched.
This guy likely has knowledge that many of the people making these videos miss. He has Grand Rapids, MI as one of the targeted cities. This is important because the backup building for the World Trade Center is in Grand Rapids. During peacetime there is a radio station and the requisite transmitting tower on the top but if the WTC gets destroyed again many financial companies whose main operations are in that building revert to the building in Grand Rapids (as they did in 2001). Destroying both would cripple the country's financial operations.
Florida not getting hit makes sense if you're planning to launch an invasion from Cuba. Using the Keys as an entry point takes you most places in the country if you have the time and equipment.
It makes sense on paper, but Florida is probably the worst places to launch a land invasion from, between the swamps, wildlife, and millions of people perfectly capable and ready to defend themselves, such an attempted invasion would very quickly turn into the invaders Vietnam moment.
Not even pets!! You have no idea how many scenarios said to not bring pets because they’d use up essential resources!! I love my three dogs and could never leave them behind!! You’re a good person.
When the video said "you go to your fallout shelter" I was out. Do YOU know where your nearest fallout shelter is? Is your town using it to store the bingo machine, some chairs and the voting machine?
As a life-long Davenport IA resident, I always feel seen when someone mentions the Quad Cities in something. In this scenario, I'd wish to remain overlooked. Usually, the closest big interesting things come is Chicago. I often gripe, but in this case I'd be OK with being a forgotten metro area...
Salem is actually a significant target as far as it being a state capitol. It's the same reason why you'd see Cheyenne getting hit in a full scale nuclear exchange.
Ok, i can understand some of these targets, but in all honesty, if they are going to launch only a handful of first strike, wouldn’t they choose military targets over just civilian ones?
Actually, I think that was supposed to be an amateur radio broadcaster. His confusion would be understandable considering the dire circumstances. If he. Sounded polished and professional it wouldn't seem realistic.
@@treeper9986easily could happen. Very quickly. 30 minutes is all it takes to get a nuke sent from one side of the World to another. They fly 15,000 mph or something like that.
