My dad bought our i10, nearly 11 years back now ( 1.2 L petrol Sportz model ). It's hands down one the best cars we have owned. The fit and finish, the quality of interior, the quality of gearbox is still better than most new Marutis. It truly was the first car that set apart Hyundai from the clutter in our market.

I totally agree, i too have the same Sportz trim (and approx same age too). The build quality and fit-finish is miles ahead than our costlier Ritz. Despite using it harshly too, it's holding up quite well .

I too own a 2009 1.2 L kappa sportz trim. Everything from gearbox to fit and finish and interior are still excellent. Runs on all 84 horses and boy does it run.

I owned the 2nd gen of this i10 which also was my first car & I really loved it. It was the 1.2 liter engine & the engine was sooooo smooth. Less vibes no engine sound inside the cabin. The surprising part was sunroof for this car at tht time was the first in its segment. I had the sportz variant. The part I hated was no steering feedback in higher speeds & it was kinda scary trust me

I also have the 2nd gen i10 (also as my first car lol) and I kinda think the steering is actually heavy enough. On highways I don't really feel scared when cornering in it lol it has decent feedback imo. I test drove the Rapid a few days ago and I found that steering super light (probably because I've never driven a car with an electronic steering lol).

But I know for sure 2nd gen had it coz when I took delivery there was another customer getting his i10 with sunroof asta model delivered. I wanted with sunroof but they told the last car was sold & no stocks, would have to wait. So I dropped the plan

Fun fact This car came with a factory fitted sunroof on the top Asta models, A FREAKING 4-SPEED TORQUE CONVERTER WHICH was a total pleasure not only back then but today also when compared to today's shitty AMT's And Bluetooth audio system with STEERING MOUNTED AUDIO CONTROLS. ALL OF THIS 12 years back!!!! I am a proud owner of a 2011 i10 sportz automatic 🔥❤️ Hyundai was really funky and innovative back then!❤️

Our first car, bought it way back in 2008 (Magna model).Love it so much that still maintained it in pristine condition & continue to use it as a daily driver even though we have a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz now too. I Just love the ageless, classic design language of this car , nice swept back headlamps.This is no doubt one of the best designs of Hyundai till date.The engine main highlight of this car. It's very punchy,peppy & doesn't feel like a small car . It can put. Aloft of big cars to shame in acceleration.Love my i10 & gonna keep it as long as situation permits ❤️

I cross 160k Km milestone. Except Mileage (actually depends on the driving style) all things are good. Super easy to twirl in city. It's a part of my family. And yes, Maintainence cost is low. But if your relative want to buy it as used car, please check the engine condition.

I have hyundai i10 kappa2 2012 automatic asta with cng retrofitment... and new creta 2021... I just love revv happy engine of i10.. Recently I had to take it to 600 kms from pune to vadodara and boy o boy it went till 140 quite smoothly on cng.. Lolz smoked most of the modern cars easily

Hello I have same i10 Sportz (2010) and the the remote had 3 buttons one is lock second is unlock but don't know what's the third one is for. Can anyone help. also is there any way to get this new remote of old model 😅

Literally My favourite car since i was 4 . A long story behind it . When I was 4 , this car was gifted as dowry to my sis's in-laws . Since then,spend a lot of time with this car. Came occasionally to our house when sis used to visit us . I used to take the keys , sit in the car and play taxi-taxi . This car was used by many drivers in its 10 year life-span (not sure about its age) we did many small trips and I CAN CHALLENGE ITS DESIGN FOR THE BEST ENTRY-LEVEL HATCHBACK, ITS REAR WAS A GEM . while writing all this I havent even started the video . But i10 was a memory . Now its sold 😭
