よく知られた話で有名なのですが、一般的な日本の飯盒、いわゆる兵式飯盒の上蓋と中皿（中蓋、中子、掛子）は、ドイツ軍飯盒の蓋になります。本体の鍋と中子のコンテナの蓋としてジャストサイズです。同じそら豆タイプ飯盒なので、形もピッタリです。ドイツ軍飯盒のハンドル付き上蓋の蓋にするには厳しいですが、兵式飯盒の上蓋をうまく使えばドイツ軍飯盒のハンドル付き上蓋の蓋として使えます。
上蓋とか蓋とかの単語が乱発しているので、どれがどれかわかりずらいと思いますが、動画を見ると理解できると思います。たぶん、きっと。
兵式飯盒は、実物のロ号飯盒ではなくロゴスやキャプテンスタッグ等から販売されているレプリカでも問題なく蓋として利用できます。細かい違いはありますが、サイズ等は、ほぼ変わらないので。
飯盒使いの方は、もともと兵式飯盒をお持ちで、そのあとでドイツ軍飯盒（レプリカ含む）をお持ちになったと思うので、つまり、両方持っているはずなので、動画のような使い方ができると思います。
兵式飯盒とドイツ軍飯盒を2つ持っていけば、なにかと捗ります。兵式飯盒はサイズも大きいので、飯盒をキャンプ用品や食材を入れるコンテナとして使えるので便利です。クッカーも2つあれば便利なので損は無いと思います。
焚き火をするなら、持ち帰りの灰入れ、消し炭入れとしても使えるので、なにかと重宝します。
