Both are comparing the original. Watch the video to see the differences. I think it's good to remember that the German army mess kit are rugged and well made, and the East German army mess kit are cheap and likely to break easily.
Although it is a personal opinion, the performance and usability as a cooking utensil is a victory over the East German army mess kit.
Each one has its own drawbacks, but overall, I think the East German army mess kit is more convenient and easier to use when camping.

キャンプ、特にソロキャンプで無骨アイテム愛好家やミリタリーキャンプ愛好家に人気のあるドイツ軍飯盒の比較です。東ドイツ軍飯盒とドイツ軍飯盒（西ドイツ軍飯盒）の違いを比べた動画です。似ていますが大きな違いの有る飯盒です。東ドイツ軍はNVAと略されたり、ドイツ軍は西ドイツ時代からドイツ連邦軍と称されBundeswehrと呼ばれていますが、キャンプで使うには何の関係もありません。
どちらも実物（オリジナル）を比較しています。ドイツ軍飯盒は、粗悪なレプリカ品、コピー品が巷にあふれていますが、東ドイツ軍飯盒はレプリカ品やコピー品はありません。旧東側だった国の飯盒として存在していたりしますが、レプリカは、まずないです。
それぞれの違いについては動画をご覧いただくとして、ゴツくてしっかりと作られているのはドイツ軍飯盒、チープですぐに壊れそうなのが東ドイツ軍飯盒と覚えておくといいと思います。
が、調理器具としての性能や使い勝手は、東ドイツ軍飯盒の圧勝です。個人的意見ですが。
それぞれ欠点もありますが、総じて、東ドイツ軍飯盒の方がキャンプでは便利で使いやすいと思います。が、なんせモノが無い。
でも結局、ドイツ軍飯盒の実物とレプリカ比較動画でも書いていますが、弘法筆を選ばずなので、何を作って食べるかだと思います。はい。
東ドイツ軍飯盒のコンテナについて、ハンドルの形状で前期型と後期型がある旨を話していますが、順番は逆かもしれませんです。はい。
