Nah, I bet I can think of 10 better moments from his first 2 episodes alone. You can’t forget how much better he used to be written. Jeffrey Dean Morgan may be a great actor, but there’s only much he can do with a limp script.
My only complaint about the character. Blame Kirkman. I think pre-apocalypse he should have been a Navy Seal, a Black Ops soldier, or even a serial killer that hadn't been caught, albeit one married to a woman he had slight feelings for in the way Dexter "loved" Riita.
@@poopytainment6026Nah... If the author did that, a lot of fans would go mad, including me. That would be crazy!! I'm just cameback watching this series hoping rick grimes and Morgan team up and reunite with the whole gang and family, whoever is left not to mention hate to say but im starting to like Negan
Yeah in alot of ways he's like rick he can be kind he can show compassion. But he can also become a monster when he needs to rick will do whatever he can to protect his friends rick is in fact actually him.
Negan OWNS the room when he lets his dark side take over. He DEMANDS it, even when he stands alone. I’ve never seen a stronger character or actor, he is insane.
Everything was about protecting his wife, now EVERYTHING is about protecting Judith and Maggie. Definitely can for see him and Rick developing some type of new bond in the current show
I love the fact that he brought that side of himself out for a good reason rather than just being an asshole. That's a guy you definitely want on your side when shtf.
Umm, he kinda had a good reason last time. How is it that everyone conveniently forgets that Rick's group took out a whole compound of Negan's people before Negan ever did anything to them.
I love this scene because Maggie starts to realize Negan really was only that guy when he had to be. He was doing that to protect them and I think she saw that finally
What are you guys talking about. He straight up murdered two people with a smile on his face. People that had given up and surrendered and were only acting in retaliation because he and his people were murderous psychopaths. He's a douche. You're confusing the love you have for the actor with the character. He is not worthy of redemption or admiration. He didnt kill in self defense. He killed because he wanted to. Facts. The ark he had of turning over a new leaf was cool..but realizing he cannot be forgiven, doesn't mean he had to go back to being an a hole. That deletes any progress he had on being a good person. Killing in self defense?? Fine. Killing to send a message? Not fine. I am terrified of the apocalypse because people like you make excuses to be the worst part of ourselves..
Yet she still can't let go and still betrays him. Maggie is so infuriatingly dumb! Edit: will people stop bringing up what he did to Glenn. I'm not talking about that, of course you'd never forgive that. I'm talking about how she attacks Negan before getting Hershel back and how she continuously needlessly gets other people killed.
That is absolutely insane to say lmao.. he brutally beat her husband to death in front of the entire group including her. IDC what he does for them after, when you start the relationship on that note, nothing pure or real can grow from that. Anything that does is perverted.
@@xglitch97Yes. Maggie made it clear that total forgiveness or even forgiveness isn’t really possible for her. But, she prefers to let Negan move on but to always remember what he has done.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan laughter when he said the guy had a neckbeard and a rat tail was very genuine, and that just made him even more of an amazing actor than ever! 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Are they cool? Dont watch it anymore, jus know that scene where she told him about her feelings because of the glenn situation. Is this just to scare the enemys or is that the evil negen again?
If old negan hadnt have came back in clutch everyone in that show would have died, now as much as maggie hated seeing it and hated the fact he reverted back to his old ways in this scene, he did it to protect the crew he just met and maggie, so hats off to him for pulling the old negan card and saving their asses
Negan perfectly exemplifies being *_"The Worst Guy Ever" (depending on who you ask)_* but also *The Guy You **_NEED"_* for certain times and certain jobs. Times like this, and Jobs like *_killing Alpha._*
@Jamushu I full well agree, he's the one everyone needs but the one everyone hates. He survived this long because of his ways, they might not have been the best or the most moral, but then again who was at the end of the world
Even though he killed Glen, he became one of my top 3 favorite characters. You can see he really wants to keep his people safe but really wants to keep people in line and can flip the switch to brutality when people fall out of line.
ehh. demonatized just means he doesnt get paid for the vids anymore. Under the right context, and if you dont really care about getting paid you can post pretty much whatever. However there are still guidelines EVERYONE must follow. This vid is well within the guidelines
Crazy thing is that Negan is extremely loyal and, as he says, a man of his word. I would be comfortable with him backing me up if we had the same goal...like saving kids.
@@jayrodgers125 Glenn... The guy who killed Negan's men while they slept, when Negan didn't even know the group yet. It's one thing to side with the character you know best, but not seeing that Negan did what he had to do with Glenn is blinding yourself, and I'm sorry to say it that way, but... Glenn didn't die innocently, like he did in the comic. In the comic Glenn never killed a single human, and that is why the cruelty of Negan and the world is so shocking, because Glenn was the one who deserved it the least. In the series that feeling is lost because well... He asked for it. Remember what happened with the Terminus cannibals, Rick's group massacred them quite cruelly and no one complained about it, because of course, "the cannibals attacked first." But when it's the good guys who get into bigger trouble and kill people, revenge against them is wrong.
@@spiralroseyou’re acting like you want her to just forget Glenn. She’s never going to forget Glenn especially the way he was killed in front of her and also the fact that she works with the guy that killed her husband. If your husband died in front of you the way Glenn died, you’d be the way Maggie is.
He was only ever THAT Negan when he had to be, when he was protecting himself and the people he cared about. He never started out as a monster, he became the monster that was needed to survive in that world.
@@Fishballs697 Nah, Shane was too out of it and too obsessed with Lori to think straight. Negan was calculating and able to understand the world for what it was as well as how to unite the people around him. He's essentially what Rick could have become if Rick, say, didn't end up in Alexandria.
@@jish55 yeah, Negan was smart. Negan would have used Shane as one of his enforcers. Shane wouldn't have got them all as far as Rick did, and they would have all been dead within a month.
@@surgesurge6302it is already confirmed that breaking bad and the walking dead are not the same universe. Merle having blue meth was coincidental. Both directors, Vince Gilligan, and Frank Darabont have already testified this fact. Not same universe.
Negan had talked about putting on a show like this to protect those he considered people he cared about, and Maggie’s face perfectly showed that she recognized that but also some bad memories surfaced too.
Negan is so charismatic. The way he can be so outnumbered and take over the whole show is…😮 His face when he sees Maggie tho, he’s like damn I didn’t know she was there
Wrong, he put the old negan away, I think it would of been awesome if he had said to Maggie “just cuz I put the old negan away doesn’t mean I can’t pull him right back out”
Question for me is(and I admit its been a while since ive seen TWD) why is she even traveling with him? If I was her Id have put his head on a stick in the middle of the woods
Maggie is looking at negan like how Carol and Rick looked at Morgan during the saviors war when he was in his clear mode. All the killing they’ve done and there is still a level of violence that shocks them
