Ah-h-h-h the Ed Sanger Chassis kit car Camaro of the mid 70's and then they started hanging huge spoilers on them front and back which led to the hated "wedge late model". Granted when everyone went to the Sanger kit car it saved what few Chevelles and Monte Carlos that were left from destruction on the dirt tracks but for me it took all the innovation and variety away because now everyone was running the same car.
I remember seeing ads in Stock Car Racing magazine in the 70’s for Ed Sanger chassis, but I didn’t know (or I’ve forgotten?) about the kit car. That one high shot of all those camaros lined up to go on the track made me think it’s a miracle there are any of them of that vintage left, and that was just at one track!
Great video!, I love all the local sponsors back then!. You dont see much of that anymore!. Everybody took pride in there cars back then cause they did all the work building them back then!, that's all most of them lived for on the weekends!.
