Back then monty would die with a simple c4, they added explosive resistance to shields later. Shields were borderline useless since most defenders would have a c4

Me and my friends played secured area ranked from day 1. Then were forced to switch to bomb. Still made the same rank tho each season. But like ubi for real forcing us to be competitive like pro league. 😔

Bomb shouldn't be the only ranked game mode. It's not like me or anyone else are planning on going pro league any time soon. Legit should not treat a game strictly competitive as pro league. All you get is a charm lol (now with alpha pack rewards). People should play the game that they had the most fun in and I at the time I played secure area with 4 other dudes because it was more fun or just more attractive to us at the time. Now I can see trolls on hostage with Fuze, but that's why you got the ban phase (or just make him unavailable like monty for secure area).
