For anyone wondering, this is how the devs played the game when designing it and any normal player strats are workarounds. The game being possible for most people is entirely coincidental.

5:31, that's actually so funny that the devs are so involved in the speedrunning community that they know demo dashes exist and literally put a place in the game that can only be accessed by demo dashing

I love that at 11:20 (and throughout the whole run) they always let the Jellyfish live by throwing it away from the disintegration field. They didn't have to program it that way, but they did. 🙂 (unless that's a tas speedrun strat I don't understand which is entirely possible, haha)

Seeing TAS is faster than the damn bird fascinates me.

I love how there's a couple spots that the devs added a little passage so that you could demo dash and have it work. I think it's incredible that games can have intentional bugs or exploits and it can add to the game.

One thing I love about Celeste is that you can already do the more complex moves at the start but you don’t know that you can do them

As a casual player, this took me about 9.5 hours to beat. Knowing that it can be done in 11 minutes is absolutely insane
