Watch the current version, it's way faster: • (OLD) [TAS] Farewell (...
Kilaye, Dahlukeh, fishmcmuffins and I collaborated to finish a first draft of the Chapter 9 TAS only 6 days after its release! We've never quite collaborated on a project like this before - we normally just TAS whatever we feel like working on at the moment - and this was a really fun TAS to work on together.

New mechanics in Farewell:
Double dash crystals: Exactly what they sound like.
Pufferfish: Just glorified bumpers. Nothing super interesting.
Jellyfish: Main techs with these are dropping them in place and dashing up to conserve vertical speed, and throwing them behind you to get a speed boost - notable applications are the bottom path of Power Source and the end of Farewell, where throwing jellies behind you allows building up speed, and the key area in Power Source, where some precise jelly movement allows skipping the keys with only one dash.
Moon blocks - the blocks, often in the first or last room of a checkpoint, which move up and down slightly, move away when you dash into them. This allows "cornerboosting" off of much higher corners than usual, and jumping multiple times off a moon block can give up to 4 speed boosts.
Power blocks - only tech we found with these is that dashing down into them puts you coyote time, allowing a shorter jump or in one case a hyper.
