I guess so, but the structural engineers' design, and the plan for the vertical rebar, was to install it in 1 meter sections (ie, dig out a meter section at time, install rebar, and concrete it back in), to avoid any danger of the walls collapsing. I did start doing it like that (you can see in the video I did 3 sections like that). This would've meant cutting the mesh into 1 meter sections to install, and then it wouldn't have had continuous lateral rebars (as the structural engineers' design). Cheers.
