Agreed. You had to be creative back then. Me and a mate had 2 grands worth of sampler that we could sample a total of roughly half a second of audio on, and a second hand moog that cost 1500 quid that could only play one note at a time. Forced creativity. Technology was limited and I think that breeds creativity.
We were lucky in the 80s and 90s, a whole new system of creating music was introduced, and if you were creative enough, you could make decent tracks in your bedroom with rudimentary equipment I feel sorry for the people making music now because it almost seems like everything that can be done has been done and you’re just rehashing old stuff
The Prodigy - The Death Of Yugoslavia (Demo) [Rapraiz Rework] Remix of the BBC 1995 "Death Of Yugoslavia" documentary main theme song "Warrior's Dance Festival Belgrade, Serbia - 15th September 2012"
Was going to make it, but RU-vid Movie Maker only lets me make videos up to 5 minutes long now, and the track is 06:06. Here's one I found though: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cv6M8cBII88.html
@@yugoslavia3534 Oh that sucks, If you can, there should be other editing programs you can use, there is also a editor built into RU-vid when you upload a video, but I don't know how good it is, I was able to listen to the link of the song but it seems to be very low quality compared to the one in your video. Thanks for linking though, The editor I used to use was called VSDC free video editor but it was pretty complicated. Thanks for the sampling video, cheers!
WOW holy smokes this is good. Banger after banger after banger perfect mini mix. Really hope you or someone on your level makes like a 2 hour long history of hardcore mix in this style
# 16 should be nowhere near any of these tracks....that is a straight up house record, just because it was sped up and sampled does not make it a breakbeat/techno record...js
@@willpolr I'm taking it as though you were around at that time with the music....I dj and I know my stuff...yes it was experimental back then and hard to pigeon hole stuff but when it comes to night and day in what genre it is, then he is worth laughing at...
