@@realskeezy3601 As someone who is not even a fan of the SEC that was a terrible call. He definitely did not have full possession of the ball before he went out of bounds. When I see such terrible calls like that made it makes me root for the team who the terrible call was made against. Even though I am definitely not a fan of Lane Kiffin I am glad that Ole Miss came back and won the game because of that terrible call

This announcer deserves a TON of credit for just going after these refs here. So easy to act like it was a decent call or somehow defend them, refreshing to hear someone give their actual opinion especially because of how obviously wrong this call was. Great "call" from the announcer to just attack the refs though. There is no excuse for upholding that catch, everyone involved in that decision should be looked into.

If the refs need to review something, by rule the decision should be out of their hands. Send the video to a replay studio and let a committee determine what the correct call is.

@@Mike-sp7zv I consider something "close" by definition something that needs multiple eyes on it. If a ref is sure about a play, he/she calls it. If replay is required, put the decision in other's hands. The ref can still look at the play and give their opinion, just don't make them judge, jury and executioner.

The evidence to overturn must be irrefutable, and it wasn’t. The ball technically didn’t move after Thomas pinned it to his hip, even after the defenders hand slipped out. RG3’s the only reason is blowing up, and we all know how limited RH3 is.

I think all these complex rules about "what makes a catch" nowadays is the culmination of why there's so much controversy nowadays. Both in college and in the nfl. 10 years ago, everyone would of called that a catch. There would be no debate Didn't touch the ground and he ultimately had control of it But now it all has to be done in bounds at like a fraction of a second

Well I mean this was a bs call near the end of a rivalry game at night and only the student section was throwing. Now for tennessee they where throwing a hissy fit cause a fair call went against them and the whole stadium went crazy in a not so close game. Plus this call that just happened was game deciding.

That call is just wrong. You can see the ball move down on the initial contact and see him adjust significantly in real time. He had no control of the ball. We give offensive players waaaaay too much benefit of the doubt and its ridiculous.

I’ll root for Ole Miss long before I do LSU but that’s a good LSU touchdown. That ball stayed pinned to the receiver’s body all the way to the turf. And I’m not really upset about the fans throwing things onto the field; I’m just curious why that early. It wasn’t the last play of the game. There was still 8.5 minutes remaining. It’s not like it was that decisive of a touchdown. Especially because Ole Miss wound up winning the damn game.

Rule is if your back is facing the sideline, the whole foot has to be inbounds, the toes and heel, toes were in heel was not, incomplete, if he was facing other direction, toe drag means completion

That was not a completed catch. Dude switched the ball from one hand to the other to get a better grip while his back foot was out of bounds. Unbiased opinion. I’m an Oregon fan. I’m glad this bad call didn’t effect the game but from what I’ve heard their were a lot of bad calls in this game.
