Amazing. She was so cool, never looked like she was setting up a big move and it would be something no one else could do. I love how she set up that aerial-layout-layout. She did a half turn and a couple of small poses all while balancing in the same foot then took off from that foot. She never put her other foot down to regain her balance or compose herself. Such a small thing but shows such mastery in technique. Gorgeous triple-full dismount. Just lovely
Everyone’s comments here are spot on. Dismount was highlight for me. I have seen some of the skills done now but nobody lifts a triple full of the end of the beam like that today. Simply amazing. And her leaps were better here. Not great just better.
I've never seen this routine at this competition. Thank you for posting. Despite the huge balance check on the leap, the routine was amazing...and that dismount...picture perfect!
Dudnik's beam is perhaps the best example of all time of the judges having to give a score that was clearly incorrect in order to keep things in line. That error on the stag jump was definitely more than a 0.1 deduction, but this exercise is so loaded that they have to do more.

Back then it was considered a stylistic choice to do skills with originality lol. We all know she could have hit those positions considering she shows wonderful flexibility in other areas. Now the leaps have to be a text book so many degrees etc.. back then it was different
