Hey there Dan👍👍 I'm with you concerning the big, heavy head torches. They may put out more lumens but the weight is a uncomfortable trade off. I rather like the thinner, lighter torches, way more wearable and usually have enough light to be usable. Everything has pros and cons, head torches are no different. I have several from monster bright with bells and whistles to barely visible, the trick is finding one in the sweet spot. The motion sensor option may really be nice with gloved hands. Cool score and good video demo, thanks. Enjoy!
Now that looks a good all-round kind of headtorch. Much better weight balance with the battery on the back. Just wonder if my hat would still fit.... And the hand gesture control - clever! Olight do get it right don't they! Cheers, W :)
I dunno, the more techy stuff gets the more I can see things going wrong. I'd like to see how it works in a howling gale with the rain coming in sideways, or a blizzard or even a flickering fire. I wont knock it just yet but let's have a proper camp test. :)
Great review! I think olight should have made the option to disable to hand motion sensor , in case of heavy rain / weather that may interfere. Other than that seems like a great well rounded head lamp
Nifty but if they made one without the big battery pack I'd be in for one, they could make one that just takes 2 or 3 AAA Batteries and price it in the Petzl range probably sell a load of them, my Petzl Tikka is the best headtorch I've ever had, light, no fuss. O LIGHT should pitch into the more normal price range 👍
