Furnace little tool. I used mine while working inside the oven recently and the magnetic back was really nice. The next morning I clipped it on my belt while I was out walking with the flashing strobe perfect little tool.
Very nice! The only improvement I would suggest is to recess the switch or add a small boss around it so you could drop it in your pocket or tool bag and not worry about it turning on by accident. Thanks for sharing!
The reviewer missed that it has a lockout function. Hold power button for a few secs when light is off and it will go into moon light and then shutoff. At that point it is locked out and the power button light will illuminate red when pressed. Hold for 3 secs or so and it will unlock and then function as normal. There is also a white light beacon mode as well as the white strobe mode.
@chiparooo yup. I only know because I just purchased one. 🙂. Seems most people overlook something in these. Not hard to do because there are several functions with just a single button.
looks to be a good dog walking option, so I could have it clipped to a coat or pocket for hand-free ability to see where the poop is to pick it up during these long dark winters
What an awesome little light!!!! Love the red feature also! Anything about being able to take a little rain? I fish at night in Hawaii and this is a perfect kind of light for that.
Can you please tell us if: - can it can be charged from a power bank? - when connected to a power bank are all the modes working or just the moon/min ? Thank you
Interesting. I might have to get one. I like wide angle lights. I have two of the Milwaukee 2xAA Rover lights. They’re 300 lumens. They can do 300 lumens indefinitely. What do you think about the CRI? I don’t see it listed by Olight. The nice thing about the Milwaukee is that it’s a slightly warm color temperature and a great color rendering index. I’ve tried other similar lights from lesser brands. They all have very cool color temperature and low CRI (cheaper) LEDs.
This should be $15, not $30. You can get significantly better lights for $30. They may not have a clip, but that's easily solved. I would go with the Faxins clip on flashlight. $10 and a more capable light.
I agree, at the same price (36€) I prefer i5t eos, 1xAA eneloop, brighter and more runtime...Maybe if you want another similar but cheaper, then Nebo Mycro, only 19€ yeah
i'm just looking for that long sustained output per unit weight that only a couple manufacturers were able to do so far@@sithcdw 2.5 lumens per gram for 2 hours is average, 6 is phenomenal. turbo numbers don't matter unless you're only looking for a very bright strobe function. comment has nothing to do with olight, they're not the only ones doing deceptive marketing
utility? i don't know about that one, as everyone's requirements differ. i like to bite down on a lamp or clip it to a baseball cap, you might want to clip it on a shirt or put it on a fridge with a magnet. at this weight nothing really stands out as groundbreaking or innovative@@Owl566and the difference between them might be ease of use or looks. the titanium nitecore tiny 2 has 4 lumens per gram sustained for more than 2 hours (my made up requirement) but you may argue that at 18.8 grams, if it were completely average and weighed 25 grams it would make absolutely no difference. the extra 30 minutes at the same brightness might. it's a more expensive light though. another that comes to mind: and the rovyvon a11, 3.56 lm/gram for 97 minutes. again, at this level, contrary to my original comment, it might not make much sense to be pedantic about this. it's not enough light to run in the woods with, but it's quite enough for campsite cooking activities or looking for a thing in a dark room.
