I used one to light up the fire area of a group campsite, no other light was needed for all of us to see for food prep and cleanup. also used it in the tent. at home my Swivels are part of my emergency lighting system
Olight is a great company, I had a warranty issue and I was taking care of fairly and unbelievable fast. I love their products wholeheartedly! I'm going to have to get this light when I have some spare funds
Hey Ben... thanks for showing the swivel to us. This is the year I finally want to purchase not a good task light, but a "great" task light. Many brands of lights out there with different features. Well, I want it ALL... specifically.... - Not Oversized (under 3-4"x 6-8"). - Magnetic and swivel. - COB (400-1000 lumens). - USB C Rechargeable, with REPLACEABLE batteries. I like to standardize all my gear to USB-C, and I'm tired of throwing out my equipment when the on-board non-replaceable battery dies. Two 18650s would be great. - RED Emergency Flashing Beacon. - Waterproof enough that it won't get damaged from a driving rain storm. Anybody know a light with ALL of these features?
Check out Unilite. They have the original swivel with a bigger battery. They also have a swivel light which serves as a power bank and has a red light. Unfortunately none of them are removable. Streamlight also just released a work light. Maybe google that one as well.
I've got the swivel with orange highlights. It is a very handy little light. I'm most excited about the new nighttour desk lamp on this sale. I got my order in on Monday it supposed to be here tomorrow. Fingers crossed lol. God bless and stay safe.
I bought a cheap copy of this because i own too many flashlights. Added a few magnets, opened it with 1.5 mm hex. No rubber sealing or o-ring on spot. Powered by an ordinary 18650. I think even Olight copy that from Unilite.
Hey Ben do you leave your devices inside your car during winter? The cold would damage all devices wouldn't it? Im afraid of leaving my devices when it's really cold.
I dislike that the swivel doesn’t move 360’ and that lacks of a flashing red light. There are better working lights. Olight needs to improve this one, drastically. Awaiting for your survival series… take care my dear friend… Uncle Carlos
@@livingsurvival what I meant is exactly that… a flashing/ blinking red light that is widely used when you are stocked on the road for visibility and awareness
Good video Ben, but this isn't even made by olight. It's a chinese no name light just rebranded by olight. Paying extra for the olight name makes no sense to me.
