Sidenote/Question: In the old movies where clark/Superman reversed time to save Lois was he faster then light while speeding around earth ?

He could be joking but when he fueled it several times and also Oliver’s other bromances, it’s very clear to me which relationships he preferred even if he never said it out loud. Sometimes actions speak louder than words and it’s very clear that Stephen supported the canon ships in public because it was part of the job. But as soon as he decided he wanted s7 to be the last, he started to fuel Olivarry like crazy again.

@@conserztasfia0078& @Bloodyheroesandlegends Here's my two cents; I think Stephen has always loved the Olivarry friendship and he's been known to tease Arrowverse fans. He's openly admitted several times to enjoy working with Grant (and vice versa) as well as admitted to being protective of him. So to me when he says things like "I ship it" he's joking around because that's what he and Grant did all the time. They teased and joked around non stop whenever crossover time came around and they could film together again. He also says sh*t to rile up fans, knowing full well it will get a reaction. Castiel's Misha Collins does the same crap all the time but he puts his foot in his mouth too often. You really can't take what actors say seriously when then it comes to "shipping" in fandom. Especially if it helps promote a show. Remember Stephen was practically an advocate for Olicity, was he lying then? Who knows. Actors don't care about shipping they just enjoy having fun with their fans. Like Supernatural's J2. As for the relationship between Oliver and Barry, it wasn't romantic and I never read it that way. It was many things; familial, brotherly, loving, best friends, kinship, partners, mentor/student and I would also agree platonic soulmates. People are allowed to ship what they want; there is no denying the outstanding chemistry between Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin, its there in spades. So anyone can read into it however they want but the reality is both of these characters are canonically straight; married to wives and have children. Don't forget Barry admitted to seeing Oliver as a brother its in show canon. And I honestly love that they have such a deep connection with one another that isn't romantic. In my opinion Oliver and Barry's looks and smiles (Stephan and Grant's acting choices) reflect admiration, devotion, comfort, compassion, mutual respect, fondness, gratitude (like when they save one another or have each other's backs), and just simply enjoying one another's company. They can be playful and joke around easily then have that witty banter which feels very sibling rivalry. But the great thing about their relationship no matter how you want to interpret it is that these two characters love one another unconditionally. That's the take away here.

It's so weird to me that guys aren't allowed to be comfortable saying stuff like that to each other without it having to be sexual.

I think Grant Gustin and Stephen Amel different have brotherly chemistry. It makes me want to see a movie where they’re brothers.

Technically Barry said he would TRY to hit him with an arrow, which allowed leniency for failure. While Oliver simply said he would be hit by an arrow.

I mean after learning to use his powers and superhero yeah. But the two times Oliver beat him in short term 1 on 1 was when he first got his powers, and it was lack of awareness that did it. And the second time, he was sort of possesed by rage and not being at all careful of what he was doing. Oliver used that against him.

Its divided, im pretty sure that 50% ship them and 50% see them as a brotp :) I dont ship characters unless their canon, and also see them as siblings more than a couple

@@freshlypizza I ship both Westallen & Olivarry. Oliver’s canon ships made me so sad and Stephen made me ship Olivarry during the Elseworlds era. He just fueled it so much back then.
