Как жаль что в жизни из пути разошлись("Джульетта" вышла за богатого.разменяв такую огромную любовь на побрякушки). "Ромео"долго страдал в одиночестве..но потом и он создал отдельно от возлюбленной свою семью....а ведь невооружённым взглядом видно..что эти двое были созданы друг для друга...отсюда колоссальный успех фильма и хочется смотреть именно версию 1968 года и никакую другую. Сыграть любовь невозможно! Надо с нею жить в сердце! Спасибо тем не менее им что они у нас- зрителей есть и есть очарование которое неподвластно ни времени ..ни вечности!!!

I sincerely believe the reason they're still great friends is because they didn't get married or so entangled that when they parted it was OVER. Good for them! They were together for a short while during and I believe after filming then went their own separate ways but stayed in touch. They were teenagers and they managed to conduct themselves a lot more maturely than people in relationships twice their age back when the movie was being made. Good for them that they still adore each other!!

They were both so beautiful together in Romeo and Juliet, one of the finest films ever made. Exquisite cinematography in Italy, superb casting and their young and very passionate love, so memorable. It is wonderful to see that they remain close now that they are older.

Оливия Хасси - неподражаемая, необыкновенная, девушка из того далёкого века..ведь, люди были другие, лица были другие..я в юности смотрела этот фильм, не могла оторвать глаз от неё, красота, юность, кожа светится - сколько мы потом рисовали её...вот Ромео - нет, он современный, типа Ален Делон..а она - особенная, как атмосфера того века, декорации, костюмы, танцы, музыка..когда смотришь, попадаешь в Верону того времени и забываешь обо всём..

It's September 11, 2019 and watching. A great 1967 love story classic movie of all time. Feeling nostalgic watching this so much like back in that time of our lives. How it was being a teenager during the 60's. GREAT YEARS! Romeo and Juliet. Leonard and Olivia. Beautiful pair. You stay forever young in the movie and in the heart of millions who you have touched in those years. Thaank you so much.

I read here that they miss them, that was interesting it was my initial reaction. What I realized was it was then the most incredible thing I had ever witnessed for I myself was only 16. So in essence what I missed was my own youth. And yes of course as a young girl, who was not in love with Leonard Whiting?As young girls wanted to look like Olivia Hussey. Even today it remains a beautiful work of art. There is no deeper emotion then falling in love for the first time. I think we can all remember that. Thank god without the tragic ending. Leonard Whiting looked fantastic and Olivia still precious. Bravo to Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting in such a beautiful and Unforgettable work of art.

Лучше произведения я не видела, да и всё скажут тоже самое. С юных лет я смотрю ваш фильм. Мне уже за 60.А я всё равно пересматриваю и пересматриваю. Такое удовольствие любоваться такими, по истине, артистами, и очень талантливыми.

Да, оба женаты. Только вот соеденить их, думаю уже не получится и они об этом знают. Они никогда не были парой . Их отношения закончились еще во время съемок. Она его просто не любила, т.е. абсолютно. После съемок у нее новый бойфренд Алан, это ее первый мужчина.....

Leonard Whiting born June30 1950,69 yrs.English actor. Leonard has two daughters. Olivia Hussey born April 17 1951,68 yrs a British actress. Olivia has 2 sons, &1 daughter. To those people saying why Leonard, & Olivia didn't end up marrying each other back in the 60's 70's. May be Leonard & Olivia can have arranged marriage for their sons, & daughters to marry each other, etc. Franco Zeffirelli, born Feb12 1923 died June15 2019 at the age of 96 yrs. Zeffirelli came out as gay in 1996 & he Zeffirelli has two adopted sons. I love Romeo & Juliet movie version. It will always be a film classic Romeo & Juliet movie version. Zeffirelli was a genius.

Thank you for this! Olivia's acting career soared. Leonard's was so hyped- no doubt it was hard to live up to "next Olivier". But he found his own way. The movie will always be a classic.

I was 10 in ‘68. I had older sisters, so I was allowed to go see this with them. Best Romeo and Juliet EVER, and Zeffirelli’s filming was a tour de force, as was Nino Rota’s soundtrack. Great movie to spark a love for Shakespeare. Olivia and Len were sublime. I’m delighted they remained friends. I know she had issues, later on, with debilitating anxiety. They both look well and happy.

Время от времени пересматриваю этот фильм. Все актёры сыграли гениально, все ! Но Ромео и Джульетта здесь -- просто космос !!! Другими их и представить невозможно ! Как смогли почти что дети передать такую сложную гамму чувств ?! Значит, между ними тоже была любовь?

Клавдия Сергеева Да никакая мать их не разлучила. Оливия свою мать не слушала. Она всю свою истори изложила в своей автобиографической книге. У нее с Леонардом было сильное взаимное влечение во время сьемок, но к ней была приставлена дама для надсмотра и их одних никогда не оставляли. Представьте себе такое. И вообще она была влюблена не в Леонарда, а в Ромео, в роль, которую он играл. Она в книге все четко описала. У нее с Леонардом даже до секса не дошло. Немного повстречались и только. А за ним охотились толпы поклонниц. Он был вроде бы влюблен в Оливию, но ему помешали гормоны и поклонницы. А она была влюблена много раз, но не в Леонардо. Он, кстати, говорил на ужасном диалекте, который в Англии считается низкоклассным. Она это несколько раз упомянула, так что может ее это отталкивало, кто знает? Снобизм.

Can you imagine all the screaming girls back then if they were seen together in public? Girls would have passed out. I believe Olivia said they did not go out together b/c people just freaked out when they were seen. They were like the Beatles of young couples.
